The latest European episode of The Cat Mario Show has gone live on Nintendo’s YouTube channel. You can watch it below.

Pokemon GO Plus is available for pre-order on Amazon Germany. You can reserve the accessory here.

Originally, Pokemon GO Plus was on track for late July. Nintendo ended up delaying it to September last week.

At BitSummit last month, Kotaku caught up with PlatinumGames co-founder Atsushi Inaba. Inaba touched on a variety of topics, including the company’s future plus interest in developing sequels.

Here’s what Inaba had to say about the latter, which prompted him to mention Bayonetta 3:

“For any time, if we have the chance to make a sequel, we want to do it. There is no title we don’t want to make a sequel for. So, of course, we want to make Bayonetta 3 and Vanquish 2. So, yes, we want to make sequels.”

Hideki Kamiya, who created Bayonetta, has also been vocal about wanting to see a third game happen. At E3, he said it’s “actually something I’ve been thinking a lot about” and Platinum has “talked a lot about it internally”.

Data obtained by MCV reveals that 3DS XL and 2DS sales have risen 222 percent and 234 percent in the UK, in comparison to the same period last year. The boost can be attributed to the continued success of Pokemon GO.

Also in large part due to the mobile title’s success, Pokemon games on 3DS are still selling well. MCV reports that Nintendo was the top boxed games publisher in the UK last week. Ten of the top 50 games were from the company, including Pokemon Alpha Sapphire (No.11), Omega Ruby (No.18), X (No.25) and Y (No.29). Pokemon titles sold roughly 9,000 units.

MCV adds that sales of Pokemon trading card, toys, and clothes are also experiencing a boost. Pokemon Sun/Moon pre-orders “have also increased significantly.”

Nintendo released a new video today showcasing a few European digital game highlights from July 2016. You can watch it below.

Following several retailer leaks, Rising Star Games has officially announced the retail version of Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse on 3DS. North America will have it on September 27 while the European release is scheduled for September 30. Pricing is set at $29.99 / £29.99 / €29.99.

WayForward, who developed Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse, is actually including some new content. The new physical version will include “Super Shantae Nab!!”, a new arcade-style game.

Here’s an overview of Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse:

“In Shantae’s third and biggest adventure to date, the hair-whipping belly dancing genie must team up with her arch-nemesis, the nefarious Risky Boots, in order to save Sequin Land from an evil curse. By becoming a pirate, Shantae gains new weapons she can use to solve fiendish puzzles and battle fierce bosses.”

If you can’t wait for Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse at retail, you can pick up a digital copy from the eShop. It’s available on 3DS in addition to Wii U.

As we get closer to the launch of the NX, more and more rumors and supposed leaks start popping up with very little official info floating around. The recent Eurogamer leak seems to have opened the floodgates though, as several other outlets claimed to have sources confirming the leak that the NX will be both a handheld and a home console.

One of these outlets was MCV – and today they released another report with some supposed new info on the NX. According to “sources close to Nintendo”, Game Freak will release a Pokemon game on the NX within 6 months of the platform’s debut. Will this be a port of Sun & Moon, a spin-off game or a “proper” new Pokemon game? MCV doesn’t offer any more information.

Famitsu has a big update on Monster Hunter Stories this week. The magazine reveals new characters, areas, details on equipment, and more.

Some of this information has now been reflected on the official website as well. Here are a bunch of screenshots based on the coverage:

The first page of Famitsu’s article goes over the hunter Rivelt and his felyne Popola. He is voiced by Sugita Tomokazu.

Rivelt may look lazy normally, but when he goes out to hunt, his sharp observation eyes and experience always gain him results. He likes to act alone, and is considered to be an aloof hunter by people around him.

Update (8/3): Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse can now be pre-ordered on Amazon Canada. The retailer also lists a September 20 release date. Basically, expect it sometime in late September!

Original (8/2): GameFly has revealed the North American boxart for Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse. Get a look at it above.

On another note, GameFly now has Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse for release at retail on September 27 (previously listed for September 20). The European version still looks to be planned for September 16, as Amazon Spain’s listing has not changed since we reported on the news last weekend.
