Star Fox Zero: The Battle Begins, Nintendo’s new animated short, is packed with all sorts of Easter eggs. GameXplain takes a look at some of these in a video uploaded today. Check it out below.
Game Informer reached out to Nintendo for clarification on Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE’s western release. The company confirmed that Atlus is handling localization, and said that changes made to the game are “due to varying requirements and regulations in the many different territories Nintendo distributes its products.”
Here’s the full statement:
“Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE was localized by Atlus in a way that is consistent with the localization work they do on games they publish. It was a priority to ensure the game feels familiar and appeals to longtime Atlus fans. Any changes made to the in-game content were due to varying requirements and regulations in the many different territories Nintendo distributes its products.”
Goku isn’t in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U through any official capacity, but modders are making the character’s inclusion possible. It’s in beta, but here’s a look at the progress thus far:
Ryu’s model has been swapped out with textures for Goku. There are voices in place, but those seem to be temporary.

Mario Party DS is out now for the Wii U Virtual Console in both North America and Europe. Here’s some footage from the game:
Tatsumi Kimishima, Nintendo’s new global president, is celebrating his birthday today. Kimishima was born on April 21, 1950, making him 66. We hope he’s had a lovely birthday!
Run Run and Die now has a confirmed release date – in Europe, that is. It’ll be available starting on April 28 for €3.99. A new trailer for the game was published earlier today, located here.

Nabbit and Boo from the Mario series appear in Star Fox Guard… just in nontraditional means. The two characters were recreated as enemies in the new Wii U game as “B.O.O. Unit” and “Nabbot”. Both are in the Chaos Class.

Wii U owners in Europe can now purchase and download Mario Party 2 on the Virtual Console. 18 minutes of gameplay can be seen below.
