Since the broadcast will only last five (update: six) minutes, we’ve decided that a live blog wouldn’t make much sense. However, any major news will be added to the site immediately.

Walmart put up some stock of the Fire Emblem Fates New 3DS XL yesterday, though it ended up selling out. Now, however, Best Buy is taking orders for the system again right here. Like Walmart, it’s unclear how long this will be available – probably not too long!

Update: Super Mario Maker has been added to the schedule. Maintenance will take place at the following times:

– 5 PM PT – 7 PM PT
– 8 PM ET – 10 PM ET
– 1 AM in the UK – 3 AM in the UK
– 2 AM in Europe – 4 AM in Europe


Nintendo hasn’t scheduled any Wii U maintenance next week thus far, but there is a bit of 3DS maintenance happening on Monday and Tuesday. The system’s network services (online play, rankings, etc.) will be affected for one hour on both days.

Here’s when the maintenance will be taking place:

Monday/Tuesday

– 4 PM PT (Monday) – 5 PM PT (Monday)
– 7 PM ET (Monday) – 8 PM ET (Monday)

Back when Pokemon Yellow originally came out, players needed a Surfing Pikachu in order to access the mini-game Pikachu Beach. Moreover, the only way to obtain this Pokemon is with a copy of Pokemon Stadium.

Thankfully, Pikachu’s Beach is still in the 3DS Virtual Console version of Pokemon Yellow. Additionally, you now only need to talk to the man in the Summer Beach House near Fuchsia City to play.

Banpresto is planning on releasing a few Pokken Tournament figures in Japan just in time for the game’s launch. Each one will be priced at 620 yen. For a look at the different figures, check out the gallery below.

Nintendo has pushed out a new update for Yo-kai Watch in North America. Version 1.2 is now available. After applying the update, it will be possible to play in Spanish or French by setting the system language to the respective language.

Square Enix has yet another new trailer up for Bravely Second to promote the game’s media reception in Europe. Take a look at the video below.

Capcom is planning on sharing some big information from Ace Attorney 6 next week. On March 5 in North America and March 6 in Europe, a live stream will take place where the company will reveal “that” character as well as the game’s Japanese release date.

The broadcast will be streamed during the following times:

– 8 PM PT (March 5)
– 11 PM ET (March 5)
– 4 AM in the UK (March 6)
– 5 AM in Europe (March 6)

Nintendo has released an updated version of their financial forecasts as the end of the financial year gets closer, cutting projected profits and total sales. The release cites a decrease in the value of the yen for some of these changes. Some of the more important notes:

-Projected 3DS hardware sales lowered by 1 million units, software sales by 9 million
-Wii and WiiU hardware sales remain the same, but software sale projections increased
-Lowered net sales by 12.3 percent
-Net sales now expected to be lower than last year
