Nintendo has officially confirmed the newest wave of Nintendo Selects for North America. Several Wii U, 3DS, and Wii games will be joining the lineup next month.
Super Mario 3D World, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Pikmin 3, NES Remix Pack, Yoshi’s New Island, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D and Mario Party: Island Tour, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Animal Crossing: City Folk, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Super Mario All-Stars will be dropped to $19.99. This starts on March 11.
Nintendo of America’s Scott Moffitt said of today’s news:
“Whether you just picked up a new Wii U or Nintendo 3DS system over the holiday season or want to expand your ever-growing game collection, Nintendo Selects are a great, affordable option. Not only are these games easier than ever to enjoy, but they also represent some of our highest-quality offerings in recent memory.”

Two weeks ago we reported that a Splatoon manga series will be published in Bessatsu CoroCoro Comic, starting with the April 2016 issue (which is actually being released today). It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart! Dragon Quest XI is still at the same spot as last week at number two.

Medabots Girls Mission has introduced three new characters ahead of the game’s Japanese release next month. They are as follows:
– Akane Suzumaru (voiced by Sayaka Kunimatsu) Medabot: Asterios
– Kurumi Ayano (voiced by Marika Kono) Medabot: Arc Beedle
– Lily Rouge (voiced by Shiho Seki) Medabot: God Emperor
Rather than playable, these three characters are buddy characters. Each one is only available by clearing difficult side missions. They can also be defeated with Hyper Finishes.
A Medabots Girls Mission one-shot manga is also in the works. This is being drawn by Z-Ton and will be published twice in Dengeki Maoh. The April issue (out February 27) will feature Megumi Kaidou and Rokusho from the Kuwagata Ver., and the May issue (out March 26) will focus on Minori Houjou and Metabee from Kabuto Ver.
We have another new tweet from the Japanese Zelda Twitter account about Twilight Princess HD. Today, “Malo” goes over the changes to chests in the new version – how Rupees aren’t put back into chests even if your wallet is full.
Here’s our translation:
“…It’s Malo. According to pops with the beard (note: likely referring to Aonuma), the Rupees taken won’t be returned to treasure chests even if your wallet is full. …with this, you should be able to more easily understand how far you have progressed… but where did the excess Rupees go? …You shouldn’t think too hard about it.”
