FreezeME hit Steam last month, but we’re still waiting on the Wii U version to launch. The good news is that the eShop version is still in the cards, and it could come soon. There’s just no release at the moment. We’ll just need to be patient!

Another new Event Course and costume are now live in Super Mario Maker. After completing Southwest Air Adventure, players will receive the Sky Pop outfit.
Here’s an overview of the course:
“Take to the skies through an adventure course designed by Mario fans from Southwest Airlines! Clear it, and you’ll unlock an exclusive Mystery Mushroom costume based on the Sky Pop airline from Super Mario Land!”

With the latest sales numbers reported by Media Create, we’ve learned that Wii U has now sold over three million units in Japan. The sales tracker has the console at around 3,020,662 units lifetime in the territory. Wii U launched in Japan back in December 2012, so it took around three years to reach this latest milestone.
The Wii U version of Shovel Knight (retail) is on sale again over at Amazon You can save $5 on the game, bringing the price down to $20. The same deal doesn’t apply to 3DS sadly!

In terms of totals, hardware sold 5,381,009 across all platforms. That’s down from 6,428,837 the previous year.

Three new Virtual Console games are heading to the North American Wii U Virtual Console this week. Wild Gunman, Hogan’s Alley, and The Adventures of Bayou Billy are arriving tomorrow for $4.99 each.
Here’s an overview of Wild Gunman:

A few months ago, XSEED teased dual audio for Return to PopoloCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale. This has since been confirmed via today’s European announcement for the title. When Return to PopoloCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale launches in the west, you’ll be able to select the original Japanese voices or English dub.
PopoloCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale is due out before the winter ends in North America. Europe will be getting the game sometime in Q1 as well.
