AckkStudios provided another release window update for YIIK today. When we last heard about the game, it was planned for launch between December and late February. We can now count on seeing it sometime between February and March.
AckkStudios wrote in a Tumblr update:
“We estimate we’re about 96% complete with the game, and believe that we can bring it to you between February and March!
Our original plan was to release it this month, however in an effort to avoid having the console versions trailing a few months behind the Steam release, we’ve decided to take time and try and release them on the same day, or within weeks.”
Shovel Knight is currently on sale over on Amazon. Currently, the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game can be had for $20. Put in an order here if interested.
Wii U owners in Japan have been able to stream over ten thousand anime episodes through the Bandai Channel, which launched in August 2013. In just a matter of months though, the service will be ending.
The Bandai Channel will be taken down from the Wii U eShop on February 29. And on March 31, the actual service will shut down.
Amazon has posted the boxart for Assassination Classroom: Assassin Training Plan. You can check it out above.
Update 4: Bumped to the top. Added in trophies, possible Mii Fighter hat images, and music.
Update 3: Added in possible Mii Fighter hat/outfit.
Update 2: Added in a stage note. That might be it folks! And I personally see that as a good thing.
Update: Thus far, it’s looking like there are no new characters in the update. Cloud and the Midgar stage seem to be added with the patch. Possibly another stage as well.
Data miners are up to their usual tricks when it comes to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS. It appears that content from the latest patch has started to leak, which isn’t too surprising given that the new presentation is taking place tomorrow. We won’t be spoiling anything on the front page or our social media accounts, but you can keep track of updates as they happen after the break.
While the Shovel Knight amiibo is already out in most European territories, it won’t be until January that fans in North American can purchase the figure. An employee speaking on Reddit gives us an idea about what to expect from Target’s stock.
In stores, there will be an average of 10 Shovel Knight units. However, there could be as few as 2 on the low side, and 12-16 on the high side. It’s also expected that about 4,000 amiibo will be available online as well.
It’s not the biggest image, but we do have a look at the Japanese boxart for Pokken Tournament. Check it out above.
Four new support Pokemon have been revealed for Pokken Tournament. Togekiss, Rotom, Dragonite, and Victini are the new additions. At the moment, specifics about each are unknown.
