Pokemon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages premiered in Japan last month. A trailer for next year’s movie accompanies the film, and we previously heard that a new Pokemon was shown during the video.
We now have the first images of the new Pokemon. It definitely looks like the blob that was shown in fan sketches. For the time being, it’s still completely unclear what this new Pokemon is about.
Yesterday, Nintendo announced that Splatoon’s third North American Splatfest will be taking place next week. The same can now be said of Europe.
Europe’s third Splatfest in Splatoon begins on August 8 at 7 PM, and it will last through the following day. The competition pits the North Pole up against the South Pole.
Nintendo sent out the following message on Twitter earlier today:

Sanatory Hallway is coming to the European Wii U eShop next week. For those who plan on downloading the game, keep in mind that the download is 329 MB.
A limited edition version of Monster Hunter X is available through the e-Capcom Store. The package comes with a copy of the game, organizer bag, and a pair of exclusive 3DS themes. Pre-orders come with four replacement jackets for the boxart.

Another couple of weapons have been added to Splatoon. Today, players can begin using the Inkbrush Nouveau in addition to the Range Blaster.
Here’s an overview of each:
Introducing the Inkbrush Nouveau, which brings the same abilities as the Inkbrush but has a different sub and special! You’ll be able to lay Ink Mines to catch your foes off guard, and then use the Bubbler when you’re ready to go in for your attack!
As the name suggests, the Range Blaster is a Blaster with shots that travel farther before exploding. It has a lower rate of fire, but who cares when you’re taking people out from clear across the battle field!? The Range Blaster comes complete with the Splash Wall and Inkstrike.
