3D platformer FreezeME has now been confirmed for Wii U. Developer Rainy Night Creations made the news known through a short video published today.

In FreezeME, protagonist “R” is capable of taking pictures and freezing them for a short period of time. This can affect enemies/objects, and plays into the overall gameplay.

FreezeME’s brief story synopsis is as follows:

“R” is hot on the trail of her best friend, “M,” who has been kidnapped by the evil Fat the Cat who is attempting to create a “Free-Dog-World”.

FreezeME’s development should wrap up this summer. Watch a couple of videos for the game below.

Hyrule Warriors’ Boss Pack has finally arrived in North America. This is the final piece of downloadable content for the title. It’s free to those who purchased all of the DLC as the bundle, and it regularly costs $2.99.

Toki Tori 2 was considered to be a good game by those who played it, but unfortunately, that didn’t translate into strong sales. The game’s poor performance ultimately bankrupted one half of the company.

At GDC 2015 last week, Two Tribes co-founder Collin van Ginkel spoke with Eurogamer about what went wrong with Toki Tori 2:

“I don’t think I would have bought Toki Tor 2 if I was a consumer. That doesn’t mean I don’t think it’s a good game. I think we did a really great job. But it’s not something I would have bought myself.”

Van Ginkel added that Two Tribes originally intended to work on Toki Tori 2 on 6-9 months, but ended up developing the title for two years.

Nintendo will be hosting a stream over on Twitch for Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. tomorrow. Several representatives from the company will be on hand, as will Wil Wheaton. Wheaton plays the role of Abraham Lincoln in the game.

We’ll embed the stream on the site tomorrow before the event begins.

Slightly Mad Studios and Bandai Namco have revealed four new tracks from Project CARS. They are as follows:

Sonoma Raceway
Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) is a hilly road course and drag strip located in California. Twinned with Watkins Glen International (also in Project CARS) as a host of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series it sees regular use by many other motorsports on both four wheels and two.

Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps
Home to the Formula One Grand Prix, 24H endurance event, and many more, the famous circuit has seen many layout changes since 1920 although the infamously flat-out Eau Rouge has largely remained untouched making it one of the fastest and most exciting tracks in motorsports today.

Brno
Opened in 1987, the relatively-new Brno Circuit has been host to the World Sports Car Championship, A1 Grand Prix, and the Czechoslovakian Motocycle Grand Prix.

Willow Springs International Motorsports Park
With a blistering lap time of just 1 minute 6 seconds held by legendary racer Michael Andretti, the 9-turn track is the oldest permanent road course in the United States with elevation changes and high average speeds making it a favourite amongst drivers.

Trine Enchanted Edition has officially launched on the North American Wii U eShop. Keep in mind that the download is nearly 800MB. That’s not huge, but it isn’t a small download either!
