The latest issue of Jump magazine has confirmed another 4 characters for the upcoming 3DS title Tales of the World: Reve Unitia. The characters are Loni Dunamis from Tales of Destiny 2, Caius Quails from Tales of the Tempest, Estelle from Tales of Vesperia and Spada from Belforma from Tales of Innocence. The latter 2 characters recently featured as DLC in the smartphone title Tales of the World: Tactics Union

What better way to get hype for the Japanese release with more menu tidbits! Sakurai takes apart another menu today that touches on some 3DS specific features:

Annouced during a Twitch broadcast, puzzle game Color Bombs will be coming to the Wii U eShop in Q1 2015 from the developers responsible for titles like Poker Dice, Shut the Box and Toss n Go. It’s a chain reaction game that has you setting off a bomb to trigger as many other subsequent explosions as possible. The price for Color Bombs is still to be confirmed.

Last week’s Famitsu offered a first look at PoPoLoCrois Bokujou Monogatari (otherwise known as PoPoLoCrois Harvest Moon). We now have a bunch of translated details from the magazine. Head past the break for the full rundown!

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart! Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, Persona 5, Final Fantasy XV, Super Smash Bros. for 3DS, and Tales of Zestiria are all in the top five.

It’s not too often that we’re able to obtain sales of digital games. However, a recent issue of Famitsu shared sales of one prominent 3DS eShop title, Kirby Fighters Deluxe (otherwise known as Kirby Fighters Z).

Famitsu reveals that Kirby Fighters Deluxe has sold over 20,000 copies in Japan. The magazine doesn’t make this entirely clear, but it seems that 88 percent of the games sales came from the eShop directly. The other 12 percent account for download cards purchased at retailers.

Following up on today’s news regarding Mario Strikers Charged, new concept art has appeared from the game’s predecessor. Mario and Peach are both in the image. With Super Mario Strikers, Next Level Games was originally going to take inspiration from street football.

Earlier this year, Young Horses commented on the possibility of Octodad: Dadliest Catch for Wii U. The company mentioned in one tweet that there were no plans, but in another, the studio said: “We’re not sure to be honest.”

We followed up with Young Horses last month and once again asked if Octodad is something that could happen on Wii U. The company’s president and community manager Phil Tibitoski basically gave us the same answer: a decision is still being made.
