Here’s a look at the items included with the limited edition set of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate in Japan. The set is exclusive to Capcom’s online store. It comes with four action figures and one of three different mini-mascot plushies. Check the images out below!
Update: This may not be happening after all. It seems CoroCoro has changed the text on its website, indicating that the magazine will discuss the characters and stages revealed thus far.
The official website for Japanese magazine CoroCoro has revealed that the next issue will be jam packed and is set to reveal all the characters and stages in Super Smash Bros. for 3DS.
CoroCoro goes on sale around the 15th of every month, but due to the fact it generally brings a lot of Pokémon related news, among other things, the magazine tends to leak early fairly often. So, chances are we could be learning about these characters and stages a lot sooner than the 15th of next month.
Super Smash Bros. for 3DS is due to be released in Japan in September, with a release elsewhere due in October.

Pic of the day. Along with Robin, Lucina joins the battle!! Her physical ablilites are identical to Marth’s–it must be in her D.N.A. However, where Marth’s power is concentrated in the tip of the sword, Lucina’s attack strength is balanced throughout the weapon, which might make her easier to control. She’s also a little bit shorter than Marth.

With the Wii Fit Trainers, the male and female Robins, the Villagers, and Little Mac, varying their appearances and voices works just like selecting alternate color variations. However, whenever there is even a small difference in abilities, that character gets an actual roster slot. That is why you can select Lucina individually.

By the way…there’s probably no chance you’ll be able to see this in the game, but Lucina has the mark of Naga in her left eye.
Nintendo just announced on their Japanese Twitter account that there will be a Fatal Frame presentation over on NicoNico this Thursday, July 17th at 1:30pm JST. Little is known about the presentation, aside from the fact that the upcoming Wii U game and media projects such as the movie will be featured! The stream will be available here on July 17 at 12:30 AM ET / July 16 at 9:30 PM PT
The Binding Isaac is something that could still come to the 3DS. On his official blog, creator Edmund McMillen gave a simple “no” when asked if the game is no longer a possibility for Nintendo’s platform.
It’s an interesting comment for sure. Sadly though, McMillen didn’t elaborate beyond his terse response.
Mobot Studios has completed development of Paper Monsters Recut. A release date hasn’t been announced as of yet, but we should be hearing something “very soon.”

Keiji Inafune has shown some interest in going the Mega Man Legends-style route with Mighty No. 9.
Inafune, fielding a question about the possibility during a Q&A session at SGC 2014, said that he’d “love to see” Mighty No. 9 go in “any directions that would fit the series”. He then asked attendees if they’d back a project that incorporates the same kind of gameplay as Mega Man Legends – which was met with a roaring cheer.
Inafune’s translator ended by saying, “he’s got nothing to announce today but the fact is he’s heard all of you shout out like that. He’s definitely putting that in his pocket and taking it back with him.”
Team17 came close to losing its Worms IP – not once, but twice.
In the late 1990s for example, Team17 signed a publishing deal after receiving extra funding for a game behind schedule. The Worms IP would have been relinquished to the publisher if sales targets for the title were not met within 12 months.
Thankfully, everything ended up working out, as the target was eventually beaten by 1.7 percent.
Team17 owner Debbie Bestwick wrote in a Develop column:
Nintendo has shared official Hyrule Warriors character overviews for Fi, Ghirahim, and The Imprisoned on its Facebook page. You can find the full set below.
Fi
Fi is the spirit of the “Goddess Sword” sealed inside the Statue of the Goddess in Skyloft. Once the worlds became fused together, Fi was transported from the world of Skyward Sword into the world of Hyrule Warriors.
