Atelier Ryza 1 getting a reprint on Switch

The Switch version of Atelier Ryza 1 has been tough to find for awhile now at retail. If you’ve been looking for a physical copy, you might have turned your attention to eBay, where the prices can be pretty astronomical.
The good news is that an official restock is now happening. Koei Tecmo has confirmed that there will be a reprint/restock “soon” on Amazon. Other retailers may receive new inventory as well, but that’s not confirmed currently.
We’ll keep an eye out on that restock and will let you know when Atelier Ryza is more widely available again.

Hello my price droppers and discount darlings. This week on NEP, we chat about game sales, what we’ve picked up so far, what we plan to pick up and what we recommend—all discounted, of course. Galen’s enjoying Bloodstained on Switch, Oni Dino continues to synthesize in Atelier Ryza, and Waluigi’s charm is prevalent throughout the show. We’ll be doing our Game of the Year show in the near future, so send in your suggestions on what categories and awards we should have!
If you’re enjoying NEP, please consider giving us a 5 star review on Apple Podcasts, aka new iTunes. It’s incredibly helpful in getting us exposed to new listeners through algorithms, so we would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you for listening!

Hello my happy helpers and fortune cookies! This week on NEP, Oni Dino and Galen are talking The Game Awards, the industry and mobile monetization schemes. We chat about the nominees, snubs, predictions for Nintendo and past instances—new Smash DLC fighter? Metroid? Bayonetta? Who knows! Let’s keep it logical, though.
Then we tackle Animal Crossing Pocket Camp getting a subscription service with a very opinionated argument over if free-to-play games like these should even be considered games. We finish things off with some Pokemon talk on the new designs, and the Gizmodo situation in our listener mail segment.
