Trombone Champ update 1.21A

Not long after its recent Switch debut, Trombone Champ has now been given a new version 1.21A update. Players should see that reflected on the title screen once installed.

Two new tracks have been added, meaning the Switch version is now in line with the PC and Mac release. A bunch of improvements have also been implemented and a few different bugs have been taken care of.

Pikmin 4 update 1.0.2

A new update has just gone out for Pikmin 4, with Nintendo starting distribution of version 1.0.2.

Several different bug fixes have been addressed here. With some of these, Nintendo advises downloading the patch and reloading save data. Also, Nintendo added in a progress bar to loading screens.

Storyteller update

A new update just went out for Storyteller on Switch that includes some new content.

Free to all players, it includes all new themes, chapters, and a mischievous new character that will allow players to re-experience the game’s stories with a new twist. Other quality of life improvements and fixes are included as well.

Fire Emblem Heroes update 7.9.0

Another update is on the docket for Fire Emblem Heroes with Nintendo and Intelligent Systems preparing version 7.9.0. This should go live late October 2.

Three key aspects have been highlighted at the moment. Players can look forward to an update for Limited-Time Combat Manuals, new weapon skills, and new weapons to refine.

Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster update 1.0.2

Bandai Namco today issued a new version 1.0.2 update for Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster. We have the patch notes as well.

Today’s update addresses a couple of key issues, including one that could freeze the game. Stability has been improved as well.

Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons second update

A second update is now available for Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons. Modus Games also put out the official patch notes.

The new update includes a bunch of changes across the board. Players will find adjustments for invulnerability, quality of life, and more.

Fae Farm update 1.3.3

Fae Farm just went live with a notable update, with version 1.3.3 going out now to all players. Phoenix Labs also shared the patch notes.

Today’s update includes a couple of Switch-specific improvements. On top of that, a ton of fixes to various aspects of the game.

Pikmin 1 + 2 update 1.1.0

Pikmin 1 and Pikmin 2 both just got a new update, and both games are now at version 1.1.0. Thanks to Nintendo, we have the patch notes as usual.

Both games now have added language support – namely Dutch, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Also, while both have seen issues addressed, Pikmin 2 has taken care of a specific issue in Challenge Mode involving a crash.

Minecraft update 1.20.30

Minecraft got another beefy update today, and the game is now at version 1.20.30.

Mojang Studios changed the “You died” experience, including the camera zooming out so it’s easier to see why you died. It’s also possible to crawl under single block gaps, a new “Recipe Unlocked” notification will tell you when you’ve found a new crafting material, the amount of Diamond Ore found in the deepest parts of the world has increased, and more. Plus adjustments were made to block destroy times and explosion resistance values as well as fixes for over 100 community reported issues.
