Update: Bumped to the top. Here’s an English trailer for Zygarde 10% Forme and Zygarde Complete Forme:

At the Taiwan National Championships today, two brand new trailers debuted for Pokemon Sun/Moon. The videos give us a first look at Zygarde 10% Forme and Zygarde Complete Forme in the games.

Here’s a look at the two trailers:

New Pokemon have been revealed in this month’s issue of CoroCoro. First images are starting to leak from the magazine, giving us a look at the creatures.

The first one we’re able to see is Nekkoala, the Contagious Dream Pokemon. It’s a Normal-type with the ability Definite Sleep which prevents it being afflicted with a status other than sleep. We also see the Deep Eye dog Pokemon named Iwanko, who is Rock-type and carries the ability Keen Eye or Vital Spirit.

Here’s a look at the new Pokemon (plus the upcoming movie) via CoroCoro scans:

CoroCoro also says that the Greninja event at the movie based on the Pokemon Election has the ability Protean and the moves Hydro Pump, Gunk Shot, Mat Block and Happy Hour. Those who attend the film will be given a Pokémon Ga-Olé disc featuring a QR Code that can be scanned to obtain Magearna in Pokemon Sun and Moon. Magearna comes with the Soul Heart Ability and a new move known as Furuuru Cannon. Additionally, it will be at level 50.

It’s taken awhile, but Mighty No. 9 will finally be launching this month. Things unfortunately did not go smooth for the game, as it was pushed back quite a few times.

Creator Keiji Inafune once again apologized for the delays while speaking with 4Gamer. He told the site:

“We deeply apologize to the fans and backers for having taken much longer than expected. I learned again how difficult it can be to make a game. (The reason of delay) was not because we were shorthanded, but due to how we were going to sell it, and then biting more than we can chew after declaring that it will be released for all the hardware. But it was a good [learning] experience.”

Various members of the media were recently given the opportunity to go hands-on with Pokemon GO. One such outlet was GamesBeat, who has now written up a comprehensive report on the game. The site has information about the different aspects of gameplay, microtransactions, Pokemon GO Plus device, and more.

We’ve rounded up all of the details in summary form below. You can also read GamesBeat’s full piece here.

Basics

– Same data sets as Ingress are used: monuments, parks, and other local areas of intrigue
– Combination of the real world and the digital

“If you said, ‘What’s the core essence of the game?’ it is that trying to mimic what the world would be like if Pokémon really lived in it. That’s the fundamental mission of the game. They’re out there and you have to discover them and capture them.” – Niantic CEO John Hanke

– Customizable avatar
– Have your own level
– Your level goes up as you do tasks like catching Pokémon or battling at gyms
– Achievements included for things like how long you have walked, how many Pokémon you’ve caught, and even some for different-sized critters
– One achievement example” Big Magikarp achievement
– Map screen is the main interface
– This shows your real-world location and points of interest across the map
– PokeStops: blue cubes where you can collect items, Pokemon show up on the map as icons of each Pokemon
– Gyms show up initially as white icons, and then change based on which team is in control
– Catch Pokemon or collect items from PokeStops by walking close to those locations on the map

“To me … the heart of the game is integrating that sort of discovery and fun of the video game with the fun of being outside and exploring new places. I just think that’s a great combo and I hope players are into it.” – Hanke

– Pokemon GO will vibrate when you get close to a location of interest
– This is only when the app is open and on-screen
– Also has a low-power screen mode if you turn your phone upside down while walking to help conserve battery life
– Pokemon GO will still work and have places for people to visit even if you aren’t living in a major metropolitan city

Nikkei Trendy published a new interview with Level-5 president and CEO Akihiro Hino. There was plenty of talk about Yo-kai Watch, including the first game’s performance in North America, the next Yo-kai Watch movie, and Yo-kai Watch 3. He also shared a status update on Snack World and what lies ahead for the company.

Siliconera rounded up details from the interview, which we’ve summarized below. You can read their full article here.

Yo-kai Watch sales

– Anime has received favorable TV ratings
– Games are at around 400,000 copies sold in North America
– Hino says that looking at it from a Yo-kai Watch perspective, that’s not nearly enough.
– It takes time for things to start catching on in North America
– Level-5 is putting together a plan of having things bloom like a flower in half a year or a year from now
– Specifics weren’t shared
– Hino noted that the idea is to have North America get content that Japan has yet to see, or some content before Japan, or at the least at the same time Japan gets it

Yo-kai Watch movie

– Third film will have live action and anime parts
– Was originally planned as a full-CG film
– This would have taken two years, which would have been the case for a full live-action film as well
– Level-5 wants a new film each year and thought of ways to make that happen, including its whole story

The Miitomo campaign for The Legend of Zelda has already managed to reach the 20,000 re-tweets needed for users to obtain the “Link’s new hair wig” and “green Link wig” items. Because of its success, Nintendo has added in a new component of the event. If the worldwide tweets hit 40,000, a “black 8-bit Link tee” will also be provided in Miitomo.

There are a few days left to reach the 40,000 re-tweets. The campaign ends on June 13 at 7:59 AM PT / 10:59 AM ET.

The May 2016 NPD report was issued earlier today. Unfortunately, there were no Nintendo titles in the top 10 – be it first-party or third-party. However, that hasn’t stopped the big N from issuing a statement pointing to success in other areas.

There’s big news for 3DS, as the system “recently passed 60 million units worldwide”. Nintendo also highlighted the success of 2DS in the United States following the price drop to $80.

May was a milestone month for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. Having recently passed 60 million units worldwide, the current generation’s top-selling dedicated gaming platform welcomed an entirely new audience with a lower suggested price of $79.99 for the Nintendo 2DS system. This big value has already shown big results. According to the NPD Group, which tracks U.S. video game sales, in May the system saw a 38 percent sales boost over April and a 148 percent increase year-on-year – all after just one week at the new price.
