Evo 2022 will soon be revealing the games that will be included in the big fighting tournament, but organizers have decided to disclose early that Super Smash Bros. will not be represented in any form.
Smash Bros. has had a strong presence at Evo over the years and has been one of the most popular titles at the event. Melee, Brawl, Wii U, and Ultimate have all appeared at various times. At least for now though, that cord has been cut and Smash Bros. won’t be featured at Evo 2022.
An official statement reads:

The air hangs thick with mist, the shrouded school halls hard to navigate in the ever-present haze. You don’t remember anything. Not your name, your grade, or anything about what caused this to happen. You descend the stairs to clean air and students like yourself attempting to remain calm. Panic does no one any good, after all. The Shin Mikado Academy is enshrouded in a mysterious barrier, and its going to take a lot of work to get to the bottom of this ordeal in Monark.

Nintendo Switch Online fixes Zelda: Ocarina of Time Water Temple room, Paper Mario Watt crash
Posted on 3 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch eShop | 0 comments
Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack was updated to version 2.0.0 today. Although it added Zelda: Majora’s Mask as a brand new game, fixes for prior titles are also included.
One of the aspects widely discussed for Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Nintendo Switch Online was the Water Temple – particularly the implementation of fog in the room with Dark Link. According to Twitter user OatmealDome, it has now been fully restored and essentially looks like how it should, meaning it closely resembles the original release. We have a look at the updated Water Temple room and the use of fog above.

Nintendo acquires SRD Co., Ltd
Posted on 3 years ago by Nicolas in General Nintendo, News | 0 comments
Nintendo has just announced their acquisition of SRD Co., Ltd. It will now be made into a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nintendo, with the acquisition being expected to close on April 1, 2022. This doesn’t come as hugely surprising news, as SRD had been working alongside Nintendo for roughly fourty years even positioning their Kyoto office in the Nintendo Development Center. They’ve helped in the development of a significant amount of Nintendo’s games since, including more recent titles such as Game Builder Garage and Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Here is the full statement from Nintendo regarding the acquisition:

[Review] Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires
Posted on 3 years ago by Dennis Gagliardotto(@LyonHart_) in Reviews, Switch | 0 comments
System: Switch
Release date: February 15, 2022
Developer: Omega Force
Publisher: Koei Tecmo
Around four years ago to the date, Dynasty Warriors 9 released globally and introduced a new perspective for the franchise with an open world format, though the feature seemed partially unnecessary. It was a neat idea that was unfortunately poorly implemented and left a bad taste in a lot of players’ mouths. Could an Empires edition – which many thought would be skipped – be able to unlock the original game’s potential? I truly believe that was the plan, and though this is a version that’s packed with all the content and changes Dynasty Warriors 9 spent years building post-launch, Empires is just a stripped down reminder that the title had a lot of its issues deep-rooted in its foundation that simply can’t be changed by adding more stuff as a distraction, and to make matters worse, the Switch version is borderline unplayable with how it runs.
