A new month rolled right on in this week. Now that we’re in September, we want to know what you’ve been playing.

There’s no question that No More Heroes 3 has been a major highlight for Switch having released last Friday. Other notable August games include Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle, Axiom Verge 2, Slime Rancher, Quake, and Spelunky 1 and 2. Have you picked up any of these games? Cruis'n Blast Switch performance frame rate

Nintendo Everything recently had the opportunity to speak with Cruis’n creator Eugene Jarvis. As part of that, we received information regarding the technical performance of Cruis’n Blast on Switch, including frame rate and resolution.

Cruis’n Blast is confirmed to run at 60 frames per second in single-player when docked or playing in portable mode. As for multiplayer, Jarvis told us: “For two-, three- and four-player split-screen modes, the game runs at 60-30 FPS in both docked and portable modes.” We also can confirm that Cruis’n Blast always runs at 1080p when docked and 720p when in portable mode.

Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain

Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain is coming to Switch, Nintendo has announced. The game will launch on December 3.

If the Big Brain Academy name sounds familiar, that’s because Nintendo made two games in the series many years ago – one for DS, and another for Wii. The new multiplayer party game for Switch will let players “go brain-to-brain with others in a series of fun, family-friendly activities that are sure to test your wits, as well as your reflexes.”

Monkey Ball suezo

Monster Rancher’s Suezo will be playable in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania as one of the game’s many characters, it’s been announced. It will be available as post-launch DLC. Koei Tecmo teamed up with SEGA for the collaboration.

Today’s announcement follows the news that Hello Kitty will be joining the game as well.

ninjala hatsune miku

GungHo Online Entertainment today unveiled a new collaboration between Ninjala and Hatsune Miku. As part of the event, there’ll be new Gum Utsusemi, BGMs, Emotes, and Outfits themed after the virtual singers Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka, Kagamine Rin, and Len.

Hatsune Miku will have her normal outfit, “Magical Mirai 2021” costume, and Sakura Miku look. The other characters will have their own outfits as well. Players can obtain the “Magical Mirai 2021” outfit in the Collab Gacha. On top of that, it’ll be possible to obtain Hatsune Miku-themed Ninja Gum for the Ippon Katana and the Crewing V from the Collab Gacha. All other outfits will be available through the Shinobi Shop.

Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2

Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2 – a sequel to the 2019 original – is coming to Switch, Inti Creates has announced. It will launch on January 27, 2022.
