It’s been a rather murky road when it comes to Fire Emblem Warriors and dual audio. We’ve never been able to get a clear cut answer straight from Nintendo about the situation – until today that is.

The North American launch trailer for Fire Emblem Warriors reveals that Nintendo will be putting out a free downloadable Japanese voice-pack at launch. This tells us that you should be able to play the game with Japanese voices if you’d like. So the choice is there – play with the dubbed, English cast or the Japanese voices.

This week’s issue of Famitsu has an interview pertaining to Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon. Producer Shigeru Ohmori and director Kazumasa Iwao talked about the games during a chat with the magazine.

Among what’s covered is the tease of a postgame episode and the ability to visit a world with Legendary Poekmon. We also hear about other tidbits such as how Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon should about double the current story volume for the Sun & Moon generation.

Disgaea developer Nippon Ichi Software has revealed its newest game in Famitsu this week. Anata no Shikihime Kyouikutan (Your Four Knight Princess Training Story) is in development, and it’s coming to Switch.

Here’s what we know:

It’s been awhile since Super Mario Maker last received some new content. But earlier today, the course from the Nintendo World Championships was added. If you’re interested in taking on that level for yourself, you now have the opportunity to do so.

Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth makes its numbered return since Legends of the Titan released back in 2013 for North American 3DS owners and brings with it a fresh new outlook while retaining the series’ staple of creating your own characters and telling yet another story of Yggdrasil, for better or for worse. While I’m a firm believer that Etrian Odyssey is one of the best dungeon RPGs around, if not the one currently leading the pack, Etrian Odyssey V also reminds me that while the classic mode is perfectly fine, the lack of any significant story makes for an overall grindy and unrewarding experience that doesn’t have exciting enough gameplay to make up for it.

First announced during the latest Nintendo Direct, Doom now has a release date on Switch. We previously knew that the game would be arriving sometime this holiday, but Nintendo has shared a concrete date. We can expect it on November 10.

Nintendo just tweeted out the news:

Here’s a new video with direct-feed footage sprinkled throughout:

Last week, Famitsu published the first entry in its series of interviews with Nintendo about the NES Classic Edition / Famicom Mini (and SNES Classic Edition / Super Famicom Mini). The second section was put online a few days ago. Just like the previous entry, some interesting tidbits were shared.

Similar to what was said in the last interview, Nintendo again noted that very few staff believed that NES Classic Edition / Famicom Mini would be a hit initially. Since Switch wasn’t too far down the road, most staff at the company weren’t really paying attention to the classic hardware. However, Yamato – a former developer and now a manager of the sales department – said that it would make fans happy. He also strongly suggested to make a TV commercial. But since the product itself was met with stock shortages, they could barely air ads.

Splatoon 2’s third North American Splatfest has drawn to a close. Who came away with the win: Team Vampire or Team Werewolf?

The Splatfest was incredibly close across the board. No category was separated by more than just a few points. However, Team Vampire had a clean sweep across the board in votes and wins.

The final result was 3-0 in favor of Team Vampire.
