Hot Wheels has had a few Nintendo collaborations in the past, and that partnership is continuing with a new Mario Kart product. As revealed by an Amazon listing, Hot Wheels Mario Kart Rainbow Road Raceway will launch in May.

The Amazon page actually doesn’t have much in terms of actual information. However, based on official photos, you’ll be able to race with Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, and King Boo down the Rainbow Road-inspired track. Lakitu is also hanging out at the front of the course.

MAR10 Day took place earlier this week, so now’s as good a time as ever to discuss the simple topic of favorite Mario games. Super Mario has been around for 35 years now, and aside from the core platforming titles, the IP has expanded in so many different ways. The franchise has been a part of racing, sports, mini-game partying, RPGs, and more.

The Wicked King and the Noble Hero

New footage is in for The Wicked King and the Noble Hero, including the opening cutscene. Check out the gameplay in the video below.

Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World

During the online version of Gamescom last August, Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World was announced for Switch and other platforms. Fans were a bit mixed on the reveal with some feeling that the title could use some improvements. Thankfully, the team took the feedback to heart and has been hard at work on responding to some of the early criticism.

In an interview with Nintendo Everything, director Ryuichi Nishizawa spoke about how Studio Artdink has improved Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World, stating:

Tower Princess

HypeTrain Digital and AweKteaM intend to release Tower Princess on Switch, the two sides announced today. The game, which is a 3D roguelite platformer, is currently planned for 2021.

Jack Axe

Another Indie, Keybol, and Mike Studios announced today that they’re putting Jack Axe on Switch. The open-world 2D platformer is “coming soon”, though there’s no specific window just yet.

Graffiti Games and Baseline Games are bringing the sandbox survival adventure game Nira to Switch, the two sides confirmed today. The project is currently in Early Access on Steam with a full release set for this summer, so it may arrive on Nintendo’s console around that time.
