Duck Hunt and Hogan’s Alley have received new trademarks from Nintendo in Europe. Both officially entered the database today. It’s unclear if and how they’ll be used, but it’s an interesting find nonetheless.

Nintendo has two periods of Switch / Wii U / 3DS maintenance for next week. While it’s taking place, certain network services such as online play, rankings, etc. may be affected.

The current schedule is as follows:

– 5 AM in the UK (June 6) – 11 AM in the UK (June 6)

XSEED took to Twitter yesterday and shared the latest screenshots from Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns, posted below. The company also highlighted that roughly 50 new lines of dialogue will be added for the various bachelors and bachelorettes.

Nintendo has published a new video for Splatoon 2. In it, Jordan Kent chats with members from Nintendo Treehouse about the 2017 Splatoon 2 World Inkling Invitational, covering basic strategies, the importance of territory control, and changes being made to Ranked Battle modes for the game. Nintendo is teaming up with Fritos for a big Switch promotion. For the next six weeks, Frito-Lay is giving away one Switch system and a game every single hour. Consumers can be on the lookout for specially marked Frito-Lay Variety Packs with information about how U.S. residents can enter for a chance to win.

Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said of the new promotion:

“Nintendo Switch sprung out of the gate as the fastest-selling Nintendo home system in history. It’s no secret that snacks and video games have always gone together, and this is a great chance for people to get their hands on a Nintendo Switch and a game.”

Variety Packs are sold at retail stores nationwide for $3.60 – $8.99. You can find more details about the promotion on the official site here.
