Digger Dan DX returns to the 3DS eShop today
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News | 1 Comment
Digger Dan DX was pulled from the 3DS eShop back in July. First Star Software, who owns the Boulder Dash rights, asked Nintendo to remove Four Horses’ game. The two companies were thankfully able to settle all issues, and Digger Dan DX will now be returning to the eShop today.
Those who already own Digger Dan DX will find new content awaiting them. 25 new caves with gems and traps are included, and can be accessed for free.
Four Horses is also holding the following competition:
“To celebrate the re-launch, Four Horses have decided to hold a competition for the first player to get 125 gold stars in the game. The prize is a cheque for £250 (or similar value in your local currency) and the competition is open worldwide to anyone who has bought the game. Existing players do have a head start, but the new Bonus levels are tough enough to give new players a chance to catch up. For full details of the competition, check the Four Horses website http://www.fourhorses.co.uk”

This is Professor Oak’s cousin, Nariya Oak
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 8 Comments
We’ve been wondering who that Professor Oak-looking character is from the new Pokemon Sun/Moon trailer. As some had suspected, it’s not Oak himself. Instead, it’s a relative.
4Gamer confirms that the character is Nariya Oak, Professor Oak’s cousin. Aside from that we don’t know much. 4Gamer says that Nariya studies the region and Alola Forms… and that’s pretty much it!

River City: Tokyo Rumble will launch in North America on September 7, Natsume announced today. The game will be offered both physically and digitally in North America.
Those who purchase River City: Tokyo Rumble from the Natsume Amazon store will receive a limited edition Kunio keychain. We have a look at that above.
As for the game itself, here’s an overview of River City: Tokyo Rumble:
River City: Tokyo Rumble follows the story of a hot-blooded high school student named Kunio and his good friends. When a nefarious gang moves into Tokyo to try to take it over, it’s up to this self-proclaimed “fighter for justice” and his buddies to make sure the streets stay safe!
Players will punch, kick, and use a variety of weapons such as soccer balls, iron knuckles, chains, and even bicycles to knock some sense into those devious gang members. Taking on jobs, leveling up abilities, and stopping for a snack or two at local food joints are just some of the action-packed mayhem players will experience. Luckily, smiles are free!

Who is this Oak character from the new Pokemon Sun/Moon trailer?
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 17 Comments
The big question stemming from the just-released Pokemon Sun/Moon trailer concerns the character above. Who is he? If anything, he seems to be a part of the Oak family, as the name shown is the same as Professor Oak’s Japanese name.
It surely can’t be Professor Oak, right? Perhaps some sort of relative?

Miyamoto says Super Mario Run will be on Android, but not this year

Shigeru Miyamoto appeared at Apple’s conference today to announce Super Mario Run. While the game will be on iOS first in December, it’s also slated for Android. The game just won’t be coming to the latter platform this year.
“For us, the stability of the iOS platform was important in choosing iPhones for the game,” Miyamoto mentioned to IGN. He explicitly told the site that Super Mario Run’s release on Android won’t be this year, meaning it’ll be in 2017.
