We kicked off our new comic series last week, and we now have a new one to share with you today. If all goes well, you’ll hopefully see a new entry at around this time every Saturday. You can also get a look at our new banner above that we’ll be using from here on out!

While last week was a one-shot based on Zelda, today we’re introducing our two new characters who will be featured in many of our comics. The strip below pokes a bit of fun at some of the backlash Metroid Prime: Federation Force has been receiving, and some of the petitions that have stemmed from that.

Here’s the new comic (click for full size):

Let us know what you think! Just like last week, we’ll be taking a look at all comments. As we keep this feature going, we’re hoping that the writing will continue to become easier, and hopefully we can incorporate feedback in different ways.

Natsume has been fielding questions from fans as part of a new winter Q&A. The first three responses were published today, two of which were about the Virtual Console.

First, Natsume shared the following about the possibility of having DS games on the Wii U Virtual Console:

We are always interested in making Natsume’s library of unique and engaging titles avaible for Virtual Console. Currently, we are looking into what we can do… No news yet, but keep watching our social media for any announcements!

Could we see more Harvest Moon games on the Virtual Console? Here’s what Natsume said on that front:

Currently there are a great many Harvest Moon titles available for a variety of Virtual Consoles. Some real classics! When the opportunity allows us to release more games from the Harvest Moon series comes up, we’re sure look into it.

Vincent, who reviewed Hyrule Warriors Legends for us, tipped me off about a neat little inclusion in Hyrule Warriors Legends.

On the game’s loading screen, you can play the ocarina, interestingly enough. There are five buttons that can be used as notes. The X, Y, B, L, and R each play their own respective note. By tilting the d-pad either up or down, you can change the note’s sound.

We have a look at this in the video below. It’s a bit low quality, but it was the best Vincent could do!
