When Two Tribes released EDGE on the Wii U eShop last week, the studio also confirmed a 3DS version. Two Tribes now estimates that the portable version will be out “on or before Christmas.”

I wouldn’t make too big a deal out of this yet as the tweet is unclear, but Namco Bandai’s Katsuhiro Harada has said on Twitter that Masamichi Abe is “working on some Nintendo original title”.

The short message is as follows:

Since Harada’s tweet is vague – especially the mention of “some Nintendo original title – it’s not worth making a big deal out of just yet.

Masamichi Abe started out at Namco, but eventually moved on to Nintendo. He’s worked on the Pikmin series, Metroid Prime: Hunters, and more.
