Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl orchestral performance announced

The Pokemon Company has announced that in celebration of last month’s release of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, an orchestra will be playing an arrangement of the games’ original soundtrack.

NEO: The World Ends with You dev says no current plans for a new game

NEO: The World Ends with You producer Tomohiko Hirano has commented on the future of the series, and has indicated that there currently are no plans for a new game.
Hirano shared that information as part of an interview with PCInvasion. While he shot down any hopes of an immediate sequel, he did point out that there are still areas of Shibuya that have yet to be recreated, and perhaps a new title could be made with enough fan support.

Nintendo is the kind of developer that’s not afraid to drastically change gameplay elements in a series. Usually their teams are always implementing new ideas and concepts in each new game. Paper Mario is probably one of the most famous examples – since Super Paper Mario on the Wii, each new game has been different.
Right now on the Switch, you can play the first and the last entries in the Paper Mario series. Seeing how much the franchise has changed over the years, I found it interesting to analyze the many differences in world building between Paper Mario on the N64 and Origami King on Switch, comparing how effective they are. Glaceon revealed as latest Pokemon offering from Build-A-Bear

Build-A-Bear is expanding its Pokemon line once again with a new product, this time for the Ice-type creature Glaceon. It was just added to the company’s site today and consumers can order one for themselves now.
Glaceon comes with a 5-in-1 sound chip, cape, and sleeper. The Pokemon itself is described as “a blast of fresh air with its frosty blue fur, long tail and diamond-shaped ears.”

Photos of the LEGO Super Mario Luigi’s Mansion sets

A new set of photos have emerged for the LEGO Super Mario Luigi’s Mansion sets.
As previously announced, three different products are planned. These include the Poltergust Expansion Set, Luigi’s Mansion Entryway Expansion Set, and Haunt-and-Seek Expansion Set. Find some additional information below.

Sonic the Hedgehog Switch Split Pad Pro revealed

Another variation of HORI’s Split Pad Pro controller for Switch has been revealed – this time for Sonic the Hedgehog. It has two pieces of art for the Blue Blur on both sides of the controller and the back is completely dark blue.
There have been a few different designs going back to
the original Split Pad Pro with Daemon X Machina in 2019. Other variations include Pac-Man, Pokemon, and Monster Hunter. We also found out about a Mega Man version not too long ago.

Nintendo Minute is ending

After the show started it 2013 and more than 400 episodes later, Nintendo Minute is coming to an end. Hosts Kit and Krysta announced the news today in one final video. This marks not only the last episode of 2021, but for the show as a whole.
You can watch the latest – and very last – Nintendo Minute below. It largely serves as a look back at various episodes over the years, but Kit and Krysta share a few words as well.

Pokemon Evolutions episode 7, The Show, now live

Episode 7 for Pokemon Evolutions, a new anime mini series, has just gone live from The Pokemon Company. This one is titled “The Show”.
As we continue to go back through the different generations of Pokemon, the latest episode puts the spotlight on Johto. The description teases: “The curtain rises on the Kimono Girls as they perform a tale of Johto’s Legendary Pokemon! Journey to Johto and discover secrets from this historic region in Pokémon Evolutions episode 7!”

My Nintendo adds Zelda phone ring holder, 2022 calendar in North America

My Nintendo members can now spend their points on a Zelda phone ring holder as well as a 2022 calendar. Both of these were previously offered in Europe.
The phone ring holder, which was initially made available in Europe back in September, is inspired by the classic Hylian Shield. It can be used to hold your phone, and it can also be rotated to be used as a kickstand. It’ll set you back 500 Platinum Points.

First 4 Figures reveals Hylian Shield statue from Zelda: Breath of the Wild

First 4 Figures has revealed a special Hylian Shield statue from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which is the company’s latest PVC collectible following the likes of Link, Zelda and Revali. True to the design in the actual game, it has a blue front with silver borders, the Triforce symbol, and Hyrule’s crest.
Each order comes with the statue, magnetic display stand, authentication card, and limited edition numbering. It’s also worth noting that the “Exclusive Edition” adds a premium deluxe box and features LED functionality “beneath the gold rivet details of the stand, giving the shield an even more majestic look”.
