The original Shadow of the Eternals Kickstarter was cancelled – temporarily – last month in order to take advantage of “exciting opportunities that will make the game better”.

For the original Kickstarter, Precursor was seeking over $1.3 million. The new campaign asks for $750,000 in funding.

It’s the megaton announcement you’ve been waiting for: a new SpongeBob title for all Nintendo platforms. “SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton’s Robotic Revenge” will be available for the Wii U, Wii, 3DS, DS, along with the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this fall.

An official overview from Activision reads:

SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton’s Robotic Revenge is a third-person, co-op gaming adventure, developed by Behaviour Interactive, which combines exploration, adventure and puzzle-solving. In this original story, Sheldon J. Plankton – known for his obsession with stealing the Krusty Krab’s secret formula – and his new legion of evil robots have destroyed the Krusty Krab and stolen the safe that houses the famous Krabby Patty formula. Fans can choose to play as SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Sandy or Mr. Krabs as they try to locate the hidden keys to the safe before the Krabby Patty formula is lost forever.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton’s Robotic Revenge launches on October 22.

Capcom updated the Japanese Monster Hunter 4 website today with new content for the Insect Staff and General Sertas creature. Continue on below for the latest.

Insect Staff

– Insect Staff can extract energy from monsters and provide Hunter with buffs
– Along with gaining buffs from the extracts, you’ll also be able to mix them up and gain skills to go with the enhancement
– Ex: mix white and orange extracts to create the Insect Staff’s “Double Up” ability
– This grants you Defense Up and gives you the “Earplug” ability
– Earplug ability grants immunity against roars
– “Triple Up” ability: mix three different extracts
– Insect Staff comes with the staff and the attached insect known as the Hunting Insect
– Recent screenshots show that the insect looks like a dragonfly
– Can use other types of insects with the staff
– Insects can be enhanced and evolve into new forms
– Hunting Insects will come with their own stats such as power, stamina, speed, and all the elemental attributes
– Enhance their stats and abilities through specific foods from quests and fields you collect
– Continue enhancing the insect’s stats and you’ll reach certain conditions to level them up
– Insects can evolve into four different types including the speed-type Garuuhel and the power-type Zameel Beetle

Genel Sertas

– Scorpion-like monster from the latest trailer
– Uses tail-pinchers and tough legs to defeat foes
– Doesn’t have wings to fly
– Can release powerful pheromone gasses to attract neighboring Alceltas and use them to fly
– When they’re not flying together, they will still cooperate and attack the Hunters, so you’ll have to keep a close eye on both of them during battle
– Rather than looking for food on the field like most monsters, Genel Sertas consumes its new friend whenever hunter strikes
