Ultratron is a homage to the 80s arcade machines of years past. The game hails from developer Puppygames and combines the captivating experience of an old-school Robotron-esque arcade shooter with a unique retro-futuristic soundtrack and slick, stylised graphics, complete with simulated CRT-curve.
With unique retro-futuristic sound and graphics, player responsive difficulty and a subtle system of tactics combined with classic gameplay, Ultratron is a fun and hypnotic arcade blast which has already thrilled players on Steam – indeed, with its 92 per cent positive user rating, it’s regarded as one of the best examples of the genre.

BoxBoy! director talks about how the game came about, placeholder visuals became the final visuals
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News | 0 comments
BoxBoy! director Yasuhiro Mukae has elaborated on the game’s origins.
Speaking with Siliconera, Mukae said:
First off, let me thank you for mentioning some of HAL Laboratory’s past titles. Regarding BOXBOY!’s design process, that got its start when the company began to field new ideas for games and I submitted the BOXBOY! design proposal I had come up with earlier.
After that, a few staffers that saw the potential in the design created a prototype game we could play within the company.
It was officially established and launched as a project once we submitted the project’s design document and proposal as a set. That marked the beginning of BOXBOY!’s development.
Mukae also discussed how the idea for BoxBoy! evolved into a full game. In doing so, he revealed that its placeholder visuals became the final visuals after he “drew in the design document and realized that they really had an impact, a uniqueness that differentiated it from other games.”

Collavier talks about why Comic Workshop Miiverse screenshots were disabled
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News | 10 Comments
Yesterday, Collavier announced that screenshot sharing functionality will be returning to Comic Workshop through an upcoming patch. The update makes it possible to post images to Miiverse.
Collavier has now sent out a comprehensive follow-up, revealing that adding screenshots to Miiverse was never initially planned to be available. The company also talked about what’s changed to allow for the feature.
You can find Collavier’s full comments below.
Who am I?
My name is Jeremy and I’m taking care of international relations for Collavier on top of being a programmer. The same Jeremy you can see on Miiverse!
What happened with the community?
Firstly, you should know that posting screenshots to Miiverse for Comic Workshop never was planned to be available. The few days of authorized screenshot posting at the software’s release were a mistake.
With the Workshop Gallery (dedicated website for Comic & Painting Workshop) being quite popular in Japan, we’d hope western users would use it as well.
