Digerati and Brainwash Gang have set a final release date for Nongunz: Doppelganger Edition. The nihilistic action-platformer will launch digitally for Switch on May 6, the two sides confirmed today.

Epic Chef gets “Welcome to Ambrosia!” trailer

Team17 and Infinigon Games introduced the latest trailer for Epic Chef this week. It introduces Ambrosia, “a city steeped in history and folklore, full of friendly faces, beautiful scenery and delicious local cuisines”.

Switch update out now (version 12.0.1)

Nintendo just released another firmware update for all Switch systems. Users can now access version 12.0.1.
As for what the update entails, there’s nothing here that’s overly exciting. Nintendo mentions that it’s simply about improving system stability.

Bug Fables Collector’s Edition revealed, physical pre-orders open this week

Last summer, Limited Run Games announced that it would be making a physical release for Bug Fables. The company finally followed up with all of the proper details today.
Bug Fables will come in standard and collector’s edition formats. If you opt for the latter, you’ll receive a CD soundtrack, Vi plush, enamel pins, spy cards, and a papercraft diorama.
Pre-orders for the physical release of Bug Fables open on Friday, April 23 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET. Limited Run Games will have it here.
Descenders announced as next Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial in Europe

Over in Europe, it’s been announced that Descenders will be featured as the next Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial. It can be played entirely for free during a week-long period starting on Wednesday.
The promotion has thus far not been announced for North America or Japan. If it does stay exclusive to Europe, it can still be accessed regardless of region. Simply create a European Nintendo Account, register it with your Switch system, and download the trial from the European eShop.
Descenders can be played for free between April 21 and April 27. Pre-loading is currently live on the European Switch eShop.
