S.U.M. - Slay Uncool Monsters

Doomster Entertainment has announced that S.U.M. – Slay Uncool Monsters, its math dungeon crawler, is making its way to Switch. The game is scheduled for release on January 12.

Nintendo Switch

The latest Japanese hardware sales from Famitsu are as follows:

It’s not quite a Nintendo Direct, but Capcom will be hosting a Monster Hunter Rise Digital Event not too long from now. Fans can look forward to “big news” and reveals starting at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM in the UK / 3 PM in the UK. A demo was previously announced for this month, so it’s possible we’ll be hearing more about that today.

Bandai Namco announced today that it will be bringing a pair of SD Gundam titles to Asia. SD Gundam G Generation Genesis and SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays Platinum Edition will both launch on March 25. This is significant as both titles will support English.

In a recent news post sent out to Switch owners, Nintendo provided a listing of the top 15 European eShop downloads for December 2020.

Among Us was a major release during the month, so it’s no surprise to see it topping the charts. Immortals Fenyx Rising also manages to break into the top ten.

Arcade Archives Shanghai III is out now on the Switch eShop. Arcade Archives Rod Land will be available worldwide on January 7.

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have released the new 5.1.0 update for Fire Emblem Heroes, which includes the Vault of Heaven for Aether Raids, new weapon skills and weapons to refine, and more. Players can obtain the following: Yoshitsune (Adventurer), Gozu Tenno (Dragon), Seimei (Adventurer), Mitsuhide (Adventurer), Nobunaga (Adventurer), Ieyasu (Adventurer), Chitose (Adventurer), Sazanka (Adventurer), Addis (Adventurer), Daikokuten (Dragon), and Marishiten (Dragon.) The showcase will be available until January 14th.
  • Increased Drops: Avenue to Power triple drops and Avenue to Fortune triple rupies event now available.
  • Special flame-, water-, and shadow-attuned adventurer upgrade events now live. Take this time to increase the strength of your adventurers of the specified elements.
  • Episode 4 and the Omega Difficulty have been added to the latest Raid Event, Cursed Connections. This will be available until January 13th, with rewards obtainable until the 20th.
