In the past, we’ve heard PlatinumGames speak about wanting to see The Wonderful 101 on Switch multiple times. This is something again reiterated in the latest issue of Famitsu.

Atsushi Inaba, who was a producer on the Wii U game, told the Japanese magazine that he’s interested in releasing The Wonderful 101 to the world again. Going along with director Hideki Kamiya’s joking nature, Inaba added that it’s a game that has only been played by only 13 people worldwide. Inaba wants to secretly announce it as a new game for the Switch.

The latest episode of Nintendo’s Japanese show Nyannyan Neko Mario Time has now gone live. We’ve included it below.

SIE Worldwide Studios Chairman Shawn Layden delivered a speech at DICE 2019 today. At one point during the discussion, he had quite a bit of praise for Switch and Nintendo as a whole.

Layden said that Switch was “a massive risk”, but it paid off in the end. He also said that we should “never underestimate Nintendo” before adding, “All of us are better for their efforts.”

Keeping in line with past traditions, Nintendo NY will be hosting a viewing event for tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct. The presentation will air live on the second floor, beginning 5 PM ET.

In other news, Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto retweeted the news regarding tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct. This was done for Famitsu’s news post about the broadcast as well as a message from The Game Awards’ account. Were those retweets done simply to express excitement, or will Square Enix have more to show?
