Evo 2019 to feature Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mortal Kombat 11, and more

During a live stream event today, the full lineup for Evo 2019 was unveiled. The fighting tournament will feature a total of nine games. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mortal Kombat 11, Dragon Ball FighterZ, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, Samurai Shodown, Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st], Tekken 7, Soulcalibur VI, and Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition comprise the lineup.
Evo 2019 will take place between August 2 and August 4 in Las Vegas.

Minecraft is no stranger to collaborations having offered DLC based on various IPs over the years. The latest one, based on Cartoon Network’s Steven Universe, is now available on Switch.
Today’s pack “contains your favorite locations, from Beach City all the way to Homeworld, original music from the show, and a diamond-shattering 48 skins”. Find a trailer for the DLC below.

Nickelodeon has posted the nominees for the 2019 Kids’ Choice Awards. We’re interested in one category in particular – that being “Favorite Video Game”. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Super Mario Party are nominated in addition to LEGO The Incredibles, Just Dance 2019, and Marvel’s Spider-Man.
The 2019 Kids’ Choice Awards will be hosted by DJ Khaled on Saturday, March 23 at 8 PM ET on Nickelodeon. You can vote for the various nominees here.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be hosting another Spirit Board event this week. The theme this time around is “Hard ‘n’ Heavy Metal”, in which spirits with metal bodies will appear more often. When you defeat them in battle, you’ll earn more gold than usual.
The Spirit Board event should kick off on Friday. Look for it to last a few days as usual.

Leisure Suit Larry – Wet Dreams Don’t Dry is likely seeing a release on Switch. That’s based on a classification from Germany, as the game was rated for Nintendo’s console earlier this month.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy launches for Switch in the west on April 9

A listing on the eShop has revealed the western release date for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy on Switch. The package will be available on April 9, according to the page.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy will initially support English and Japanese. French and German language support will be added later.
As we don’t have the official announcement from Capcom just yet, it’s unclear if Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy will be getting a physical version overseas. We’ll keep you updated on that front.
