Ninjala

At E3, GungHo revealed the stylish-looking Ninjala. This game is being created exclusively for Switch with a release planned for 2019.

There wasn’t too much information about Ninjala shared coming out of E3, but Japanese website 4Gamer managed to speak with a couple of people behind the game. Scenario creator / producer Kazuki Morishita and development director Takeshi Arakawa both chatted about how long it’s been in the works, the decision to release it on Switch, and details like the gameplay.

At EVO 2018 today, a new set of DLC characters were revealed for BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle. Nine in total are on the way – three from Persona 4 Arena, another three from BlazBlue, and the final trio from Under Night In-Birth.

Work x Work

A couple of months ago, the new RPG Work x Work was announced for Switch. There’s some notable talent on the team, including Nobuyuki Inoue – who was the director of Mother 3.

In a recent issue of Famitsu, the magazine published a lengthy developer interview. Inoue along with Nobuhiro Imagawa (graphics), Tsukasa Masuko (sound), Takahiro Yamane (development director), and Takuya Yamanaka (producer) talked about the project’s origins, why it’s on Switch, the gameplay, and much more.

THQ Nordic has brought a number of titles to Switch as of late, including de Blob, Titan Quest, and Battle Chasers: Nightwar earlier in the year. Rad Rodgers: World One appears to be the next release from the publisher.

Over on GameFly, a listing has appeared for Rad Rodgers: World One on Switch. The retailer tends to be very accurate, and hasn’t let us down in the past when it comes to new games we hadn’t known about previously.

Original (7/16): Amazon has revealed a special version of the Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Creating a Champion book. Launching with the regular version on November 20, the slipcase edition “features the royal blue worn by the Hylian Champion and includes the Creating a Champion art book with an exclusive cover, a map of Hyrule printed on cloth, an art print of the Champions’ photo Link hangs in his Hateno home, and a beautiful glass replica of a spirit orb.”

Candle: The Power of the Flame was made available on Switch last week as a digital download. Publisher Merge Games has provided some news about the physical version, confirming a September 11 release date. Pricing is set at $29.99.
