To recap, the limited edition includes:

Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove is finally receiving a physical release on Switch, a GameStop listing reveals. Unfortunately, a release date is not provided.

The physical version of Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove will include all of the campaigns released for the game. This includes the original title, Plague of Shadows, Specter of Torment, and upcoming King of Cards. Though it’s not specifically mentioned, the new Showdown Knight Showdown fighter should be included as well.

de Blob 2

This week, THQ Nordic launched de Blob 2 on Switch. You can watch the first hour of footage in the video below.

Square Enix has prepared a new batch of screenshots from Dragon Quest Builders 2. Get a look at the latest images below.

For the Switch version of Steins;Gate Elite, 5pb. and Mages are offering 8-bit ADV Steins;Gate. This special 8-bit graphics and chiptune version of the game was developed by series creator Chiyomaru Shikura. We have a new trailer for the title, posted below.

Next weekend, another Party Crash will be taking place for ARMS. Byte & Barq and Dr. Coyle will be battling it out in the latest event. “ARMS Labs Exposed” is the theme.

You can participate in the new ARMS Party Crash starting September 7. It’ll last until September 10, and we’ll have the results shortly after.

A couple of weeks ago, Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi with Power-Up Kit, essentially an enhanced edition of Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi, was announced for Nintendo Switch. Today, Koei Tecmo revealed the release date for the game in Japan: November 29th. In addition to the standard edition, there will also be a “Premium Box” which contains the game, the soundtrack on CD, an artbook, a historical events guide and a special in-game scenario, “Toyotomi’s Counterattack”.

Yesterday, Mega Man 11 developer Tsuchiya Kazuhiro visited Taiwan to present the title to the Chinese media. When asked about another entry in the Mega Man X series at a press conference, Kazuhiro clarified that there isn’t one in development. He said he can’t say they’re “doing nothing” but a Mega Man X sequel depends on the reception to Mega Man 11.

Nintendo has provided a couple of news updates on Splatoon 2.

First, the next weapon drop won’t be coming at the start of September – or this Saturday in other words. Instead, players can look forward to the new content “in early September.”
