Released amidst a flurry of absolutely no hype or promotion– courtesy of Nintendo, it seems– Jett Rocket II: The Wrath of Taikai popped onto the 3DS eShop as the sequel to a well-loved (if perhaps a bit archaic) WiiWare title that bears the same franchise name. It’s billed as a platformer– and that it is– but it’s one that can’t seem to choose between 3D and 2D, swapping between the two as though it’s a motorcyclist in the busy lanes of a Los Angeles highway. The game is certainly trying to take you somewhere, and doesn’t seem afraid to take its own route to get there– but is the trip worth the price?
First it was $150. Then it was $220. Followed by $150 again. And finally $170.
That’s been the story of Target’s deal on the Zelda 3DS XL bundle. Now that the offer is actually running in stores, how much is the thing ringing up for? Consumers who have headed out to Target today have come home having paid just $150 – the original amount Nintendo shared in its first tweet.
Mario is the latest character to be featured in various sales on the eShops. Here’s a full lineup of titles available at discounted prices:
3DS
Super Mario Bros. – $3.49 (was $4.99)
Super Mario Bros. 2 – $3.49 (was $4.99)
Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins – $2.79 (was $3.99)
Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move – $6.99 (was $9.99)

Wii U is no longer a separate stretch goal on Lobodestroyo’s Kickstarter. If it hits the main $35,000 target, Lobodestroyo will be a sure thing for the system.
There’s a little under two weeks for the campaign to reach the necessary total. Just over $10,000 has been raised thus far.

Wii U’s new YouTube update introduces functionality with Android/iOS devices. Such devices can now send videos directly to Nintendo’s console. It’s a pretty neat feature!
