Hamster will release Tinkle Pit as the latest Arcade Archives game on Switch, the company announced today. A worldwide release is planned for July 11, 2024.

Tinkle Pit, which was originally made by Namco, first debuted in 1993. You can find a bit of information in the following description provided by Hamster: 

Naheulbeuk’s Dungeon Master debuted today, and a final launch trailer has arrived. Dear Villagers and Artefacts Studio are showing off their diabolical dungeon management sim.

Nintendo just issued a first update for Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, bringing the game to version 1.0.1.

A number of issues have been addressed across the board. One of the more notable problems addressed is for a bug in which players could get past the fallen tree near Twilight Town without Tube Mode.

Nintendo Switch Sports just started distribution of its latest update, which is version 1.5.0.

As previously announced, basketball – which was previously featured in Wii Sports Resort – has been added as a new sport. That brings the total number of events up to eight. At launch, players could access tennis, bowling, chambara, soccer, volleyball, and badminton. Golf was added as a post-launch update for free.

UK sales for June 2024

Thanks to GamesIndustry, we have new insight into the UK gaming market for June 2024.

While it missed out on the top ten, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD did appear at #14. It’s possible that the game could have charted higher, but since Nintendo doesn’t share digital data, its placement is only based on physical sales. EA Sports FC 24 was the overall top seller for the month.

Sonic the Hedgehog hasn’t done much in the RPG space, but it’s something that Sonic Team boss Takashi Iizuka hopes to pursue.

Iizuka spoke about his interest in the genre while talking with Good Vibes Gaming. Despite acknowledging that he’d like to make a Sonic RPG happen before he retires, he was quick to point out that no concrete plans are currently in place.

Another collaboration just appeared in Overwatch 2, and the game is now teaming up with Transformers.

Players can get their hands on themed skins and join legendary Autobots and Decepticons as they bring their epic battle into Overwatch. Outside of skins, themed event and special rewards have been added.

Today, Ubisoft that its Uno game for Switch was just given new Party! Mania DLC on Switch. This is available right now on the eShop.
