The latest Switch system update, version 13.2.0, is now available.
Note that there is no new functionality this time around. Nintendo’s patch notes simply state: “General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.” Specifics regarding these improvements were not provided.
With each passing year, The Game Awards cements itself as one of the biggest presentations in gaming nowadays with the number of viewers growing. However, some have criticized the show for its pacing, awards, and excess of sponsors.
It’s undeniable though that a lot of memorable moments have come about during The Game Awards, and quite a few of them have been Nintendo-related. At the end of April, Mediatonic delayed the Switch version of Fall Guys to an unspecified date. Some had hoped that we’d be seeing it land on the console along with Season 6, but unfortunately, that won’t be happening.
Mediatonic confirmed today that it will have more information to share in 2022 about the Switch version of Fall Guys. That means the delay will indeed stretch beyond this year. Mediatonic said that the Switch version is “one of our top priorities in active development”.
The physical version of GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has been delayed, Rockstar Games has announced. Copies on Switch will not be available until early 2022.
GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition previously arrived on the Switch eShop earlier this month. It includes redone versions of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Previously, the physical version was planned for December 7.

According to Nintendo’s Corporate Governance Report, the company is making a stronger push for diversity within its workforce.
One section of the document mentions that “recruiting women and creating an environment in which women can build successful careers.” It noted that Nintendo will “increase the proportion of women in managerial positions”.
The Corporate Governance Report also notes how the company is “committed to respecting the personality and strengths of each and every employee, including employees from our overseas subsidiaries, and developing an environment where employees of diverse backgrounds can maximize their potential.”
The long-awaited Caves & Cliffs: Part II update for Minecraft, otherwise known as version 1.18.0, is now live and we have the patch notes. It includes increased the world height and depth, new cave generation, new cave and mountain biomes, new music tracks, and much more.

Idea Factory has announced that Birushana: Rising Flower of Genpei, which first came to Japan in September 2020, is getting a proper English release in the west. Those in North America and Europe will be able to experience the title starting in Summer 2022.

Red Art Games today unveiled its latest physical release for Switch, which will be The Procession to Calvary. The company is teaming up with Digerati on the boxed version. Only 2,800 copies will be made.
The Procession to Calvary, a Pythonesque point-and-click adventure game, made it to Switch as a digital title this past July. This is the first time that a physical version will be offered.
