Death end re;Quest 2 has been dated for Switch in Japan. The RPG will launch on August 19, Compile Heart announced today.

Death end re;Quest 2 was just announced for Switch in North America and Europe last week. For now, the western launch is targeting early 2022.

Capcom has shared a new trailer for the next major update in Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. The game is adding a co-op quest exclusive monster Kulve Taroth as well as Hellblade Glavenus and Boltreaver Astalos.

At the start of 2018, Nintendo filed a lawsuit against White Cat Project developer Colopl. The legal battle has now drawn to a close. 

The two sides have reached a settlement, and Colopl will pay Nintendo 3.3 billion yen. Colopl will pay for future licenses for use of Nintendo’s patent as well.

Nintendo filed the lawsuit originally after claiming that five tech patents were violated, including the use of a touch panel to manipulate a joystick.

Sanuk Games has announced that drumming game Drum Box is coming to Switch. Check out an overview and trailer below.

Nintendo has announced that the latest Spirit Board even for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will feature new Spirits from Mario Golf: Super Rush.

Starting on August 6, three new spirits will be available through this event: Mario (Mario Golf: Super Rush), Luigi (Mario Golf: Super Rush), and Peach (Mario Golf: Super Rush).

The event will be active until August 11.

This week, Hamster is bringing Space Battleship Gomorrah as the latest entry to the Switch’s Arcade Archives library, the company has confirmed. A worldwide release is planned for August 5.

Space Battleship Gomorrah was originally released in 1999 by UPL, and later was brought to the west as Bio-Ship Paladin. It’s a horizontal shooter in which the player controls both the ship and its weapons as well as a targeting reticle for other weapons independently.

Arcade Archives Nova 2001 will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29 on the Switch eShop.

The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu has revealed that Nippon Ichi Software will be releasing Asatsugutori for Switch. In this mysterious adventure game, players will be able to travel back in time to investigate multiple murders in an unknown building where 8 girls live together. One by one, the girls will be killed and its up to the player to unravel the truth. The girls themselves may not always be able to help the player, however, since they are not aware that they are to be murdered.

The protagonist’s time travel ability will trigger each time a killing occurs, and the player will be able to investigate to find various clues in an effort to find out the truth. Being able to loop back to several points in a day, the investigation that you can collect will change depending on where you are in the timeline. You can check out the teaser site for title, which has been updated several times, here. On the site, the lone video below is shown:

Asatsugutori will launch on November 25 in Japan for 7,678 yen.
