The Chao Garden is something that’s beloved among SEGA fans in the Sonic the Hedgehog title, but that feature won’t be getting its own standalone game in the near future.

Takashi Iizuka, the boss of Sonic Team, ruled out the possibility in a recent interview. He said that Chao Garden is something that it’s a piece of Sonic Adventure, and doesn’t seem to believe it’d make sense to “just break it off and make it a thing.” Fan interest in Sonic Adventure 3 was also again acknowledged.

The Last Ninja Collection took to Kickstarter today and almost immediately reached its funding goal. In forty minutes, fans helped raise over £10,000 – and that amount is naturally still rising.

The Last Ninja Collection will contain every Last Ninja title from the Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, and Commodore Amiga for the first time, including The Last Ninja, Last Ninja 2, Last Ninja 3, and Ninja Remix. Bangkok Knights, International Karate, and International Karate + are also available.

Good news for Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition fans – a physical release is happening in the form of a collector’s edition. Retailers began opening pre-orders today.

Fans will be given a few different goodies alongside the game. Each unit contains a double-sided collectable anniversary coin, Worms stickers, a Weapons & Utilities Guide booklet, a double-sided poster and three exclusive pins.

There’s not a ton of excitement this time around for Switch games. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the highest charting Switch exclusive at #8. Also, Emio – The Smiling Man – Famicom Detective Club has already fallen off and is no longer in the top 40.

Between Horizons now has a confirmed release date, and the game is due out on Switch in just a few days. Publisher Assemble Entertainment and developer DigiTales Interactive will have it ready to go on September 19, 2024.

It’s been a couple of years since we originally heard about Between Horizons. Although it did make it out for PC last year, we’ve been waiting for the Switch version since then.

Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios are back with another DLC trailer for Mortal Kombat 1, this time showing off Noob Saibot. The character will be featured in the Khaos Reigns expansion and will be offered in Kombat Pack 2.

August 21: Courtesy of publisher United Label Games and developer Sam Enright, we’ve got the release date for Beyond Galaxyland. The title is slated for September 16, 2024 on Switch.

Beyond Galaxyland was first announced in April. The 2.5D adventure RPG has players going on a planet-hopping journey to save Earth.

Publisher Microids and developer Magic Pockets are bringing Space Adventure Cobra: The Awakening to Switch, the two sides announced today. The game launches in 2025.

Space Adventure Cobra: The Awakening is an action platformer based on the famous anime series. Players will need to get to the bottom of a a mysterious threat hanging over the entire universe with their loyal partner Lady Armaroid.

Splatoon 3 is celebrating its second anniversary with a couple of announcements – specifically the Ordertune soundtrack and BancalaWalker art book. Both are releasing in Japan on December 11, 2024.

First up, the Splatoon 3 Ordertune soundtrack contains four CDs. You’ll get all of the music from the Expansion Pass here, including tunes made for Side Order. Plus, it comes with all the tracks from Free Association that plays in the Side Order DLC, “Unconscience”, “Short Order”, “Spectrum Obligato ~ Ebb & Flow (Out of Order)”, special tracks from the Grand Festival, and everything that played during the Splatoon 3 Live Concert featuring Deep Cut which has been newly remixed and remastered.

Playism and Spiderling Studios have announced that they will be bringing Besiege to Switch in just a few days. The physics-based building title will launch on September 12, 2024.

In the game, players will construct their own siege engines to destroy fortresses and hamlets alike to accomplish their objective. It will also come with specific touch screen support for the system.
