NPD Group has released a listing of the top twenty best-selling games in the U.S. for the month of August 2019. The results can be found below, which includes Astral Chain in the top ten despite launching at the end of the month.

Shakedown: Hawaii has been available on Switch for a few months now, so it’d be easy to forget that a 3DS version is also happening. Vblank Entertainment provided an update on that version today, confirming that the game will be available for the handheld-only device starting September 19. Pricing is set at $14.99 / €14.99 / £13.49.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses was given a pretty significant update this week. It added a new difficulty mode, changed the male actor for male Byleth, and more.

The Game Awards 2019 will take place on December 12, creator and host Geoff Keighley has announced. The show will be held in Los Angeles at the Microsoft Theater.

Regarding The Game Awards 2019, Keighley had this to say:

Universal Parks & Resorts chairman and CEO Tom Williams has revealed new details about Super Nintendo World.

Speaking with Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Jessica Jean Reif Cohen, Williams confirmed that the first park in Japan is set to open next spring. Mario Kart and Yoshi rides will be featured in the first phase. There are other aspects to the park, including Peach’s Castle, restaurants, merchandise, and more.
