Mega Man: Fully Charged

Several years after it was announced, Mega Man: Fully Charged finally has a premiere date. The animated series will kick off August 5 on Cartoon Network.

If you’re at Comic-Con this week, you’ll be able to get a peek at the series with the first episode. Fans can stop by a special panel on July 20 at 6 PM to watch it live. Capcom’s Kazuhiro Tsuchiya, DHX Studios’ Logan McPherson, and Man of Action Entertainment’s Joe Casey and Steven T. Seagle will be on hand for the event.

There’s another Comic-Con opportunity for fans as well. On July 20, there will be artwork-signing with the creators and producers of the show as well as exclusive Mega Man artwork from Jose Emroca Flores and merchandise from Toynami. A life-sized Mega Man statue will be on hand for a photo opportunity as well.

Gal Metal boxart

XSEED Games today confirmed that the rhythm-based Switch exclusive Gal Metal will be sold physically in North America. The “World Tour Edition” includes the base game and the “Encore DLC”. This downloadable content adds five new characters, each with their own unique story episode and song.

Gal Metal will be sold physically for $39.99, and a digital version will be offered on the eShop for $29.99. The “Encore” DLC is priced at $9.99.

Knights of Pen & Paper 2 - Deluxiest Edition

Seaven Studios partnered with Behold Studios to bring Knights of Pen and Paper +1 Deluxier Edition to Switch several weeks ago. The two will also be doing something similar with the sequel, Knights of Pen & Paper 2 – Deluxiest Edition.

Dan & Gary Games has announced a new feature in the pipeline for Super Daryl Deluxe. The RPGvania with a brawler-style combat system and hand-drawn comic aesthetic is adding co-op multiplayer.

Masahiro Sakurai

Smash Bros. Ultimate director Masahiro Sakurai is back this week with one of his regular columns in Famitsu. This was the first piece he shared after seeing the reaction to the game’s announcement at E3.

Aside from speaking about the response, Sakurai also spoke about keeping Ultimate and reveal itself a secret, and addressed the series’ future again. There’s even a bit of talk about his health as well.

State of Anarchy: Master of Mayhem

Lapovich’s well-received action game State of Anarchy: Master of Mayhem debuted on Steam about a year ago. Sometimes You is now bringing it to Switch, a listing on the European eShop reveals.

State of Anarchy: Master of Mayhem, described as “a hilarious shooter”, features intense bullet hell action. We have further details and a trailer below.

Did you know that Nintendo brought Dillon’s Dead-Heat Breakers to the 3DS in May? Perhaps not, as it definitely went under the radar. It was eShop-only in North America, and with Switch soaking up the limelight right now, the game’s producer believes that folks may not be aware that it was released.

In an interview with Kotaku, Nintendo producer Kensuke Tanabe spoke about wanting more people to play Dillon’s Dead-Heat Breakers. He also spoke about interest in creating another title with Dillon as an RPG.

Tingle

Tingle, the peculiar character from the Zelda series, has been featured in his own games before. Freshly-Picked Tingle’s Rosy Rupeeland and Ripened Tingle’s Balloon Trip of Love are the most notable of the bunch, and came out on DS many years ago.

Tingle actually could have received another title, but Nintendo and Vanpool pulled the plug. In an interview with Kotaku, Nintendo producer Kensuke Tanabe revealed:
