Following a bit of maintenance, Nintendo has started distribution of the latest Splatoon 2 update. Version 2.3.3 is out now.
Today’s Splatoon 2 patch only addresses one particular issue. In the past, some players may have experienced issues connecting with friends with the Online Lounge after attempting to play Salmon Run. This should no longer be a problem going forward.

When Super Mario Galaxy came to Wii, the game had its fair share of nontraditional controls. For instance, to perform the spin move, you needed to shake the Wii Remote. You also had to point the controller to certain places on screen to collect Star Bits.
Super Mario Galaxy launched for NVIDIA Shield in China a few days ago, and as we know, the device doesn’t feature motion controls. So how were the adjustments made here?
To spin, you now simply just need to press the X button. Also, the pointer is mapped to the right control stick. As one other final note, the A button when choosing a galaxy has been bind to RT instead of A.

Urban Trial Playground appears to be receiving a physical release in Europe. A new listing has popped up on Amazon France, complete with the game’s boxart. You can see the official page here.
Urban Trial Playground will also be offered physically in Japan, courtesy of 3goo. North America might be the only region without a physical version, though fortunately important is an option since Switch is region-free.
Towards the end of last year, James Montagna announced Dodge Club Pocket for 3DS. A release date now appears to be set, as Nintendo’s website lists the game for March 29.

If you watch anime or have even the slightest knowledge of it, chances are you’ve heard of Attack on Titan. In the last few years alone, the franchise has grown to be a globally known property that’s quickly making its way up the ranks to the likes of Tokyo Ghoul, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and One Punch Man in terms of surge of popularity, and it shows no signs of slowing down. For its new game, Attack on Titan 2 sees developer Omega Force return for a sequel to the 2016 original, and while that title undoubtedly had issues with its repetitiveness and uninspired progression, this new title feels very much like an overhaul where they’ve learned from mistakes, what worked and didn’t work, and with an attempt to make this a lot more personal and captivating by experiencing the events through the eyes of your created character, rather than simply playing what you’ve watched and read. There are still improvements to be made before we get that perfect Attack on Titan experience, but this is undoubtedly a step in the right direction.
Nintendo’s big North American executive is celebrating his birthday today. Reggie Fils-Aime, born on March 25, 1961, is now 57 years old.
2018 will mark Reggie’s 15th year at Nintendo. He joined the company at the end of 2003, but really made his presence known at E3 2004 with the following introduction:
