Headup Games has revealed a Switch release date for Bridge Constructor Portal. As an eShop title, the game is launching on February 28. Pricing is set at $14.99.
Bridge Constructor Portal makes full use of the Portal license, complete with the return of Ellen McLain as the voice of GLaDDOS. “The unique puzzle game blends the laws of structural engineering and technology straight from Aperture Laboratories into an exciting new game experience,” publisher Headup Games says.

Arc System Works provided an update on Cube Creator X today, offering new details on the game’s items, world, and systems. Find the information rounded up below with screenshots, courtesy of Gematsu
– By bringing the “Rare Items” hidden in each world to its lord, its territory will expand
– In order to increase the amount of worlds you can explore, you must collect “Lithograph Fragments” to complete “Slates”
– Treasures, mysterious buildings, and more will appear in locations indicated by the new “Treasure Map” item
– Various hidden areas may also appear in each world
– “Island of the Distant Sea” is a new world where there is an endless sea
– You can also come across valuable resources only found in the sea here
– “Sizes” and “weights” have been added for all characters, including the player
– Various things are affected by size, weight, time, and action, enabling even deeper enjoyment of the cube world
– Create your own world in Creative Mode
– Here more editing features have been added to enable more efficient creativity
– Your favorite buildings can be registered in part units, and moved, copied, and erased by selecting a larger range
– Stage Builder mode: create original stages that use “Gimmick Cubes” which have various mechanics
– You can choose the form of the stage from those that appear in the game, add new goal rules, and create even more varied stages
Attack of the Earthlings is in the works for Switch, Team Junkfish has announced. A release is planned for this summer.
You can expect a turn-based extraterrestrial strategy game from Attack of the Earthlings. You’ll play as Swarmers, “a highly aggressive insectoid species, who must convert human flesh into alien muscle, evolve their units and even find the time to gatecrash a birthday party as they put a stop to the Earthlings’ interplanetary assault.” The game has a mix of turn-based combat and stealth.

Koei Tecmo has released a handful of screenshots showing off the Shadow Dragon DLC in Fire Emblem Warriors. We have the various images below.
The Fire Emblem Warriors – Shadow Dragon DLC launches February 15 in Japan, and it should be around the same time in North America and Europe. We have many more details here.

During a live stream last night, Ace System Works confirmed that BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle will include English dubs. Players will be able to choose between English and Japanese voices.
Arc System Works didn’t elaborate on the English dub. One interesting thing to note though is that Ruby was shown with an English voicing teamed up with Weiss who had Japanese voicing. It’s possible that you’ll be able to specify the voicing for each character.
Update: The My Nintendo website went into a little more detail on the process. In Europe, one Gold Point equals 1 cent, so if you have 500 Gold Points, you could buy a game that costs 5€ with those points or get a 5€ discount on a more expensive game.

Nintendo recently announced their next mobile game, Mario Kart Tour. They didn’t really divulge any details beyond the game’s name, other than a very vague release date of “fiscal year 2018”. However, we learned a pretty crucial fact today. According to Wall Street Journal reporter Takashi Mochizuki, Isao Moriyasu, the CEO of DeNA, Nintendo’s partner in the mobile games business, said that Mario Kart Tour would be “free-to-start”, like Fire Emblem Heroes and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.
Developer Broken Rules has announced that Old Man’s Journey will hit the Switch eShop in Europe and North America on February 20th. Old Man’s Journey is a puzzle adventure game with a very unique art style.
The official Fire Emblem Heroes Twitter account has revealed the current standings of the A Hero Rises voting event, whose winner will be made available for free to all players.
The top 20 are in the image below. As you can see, the top four are Ike: Vanguard Legend, Hector: General of Ostia, Tharja: “Normal Girl” and Azura: Lady of Ballads. Currently, those four would make it into the second round of the vote, which would then determine the overall winner. However, there are still five days left to vote in the first round, so get your votes in here.
