Miiverse will be shutting down later this month. Its closure will have an impact on Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS, with the Wii U version in particular being affected.

Nintendo posted a message on its Japanese website today clarifying how the end of Miiverse will impact the two games. Here’s what the company shared:

[3DS only]

– Posting screenshots on Miiverse
– You can continue to share screenshots with friends with Image Share

[Wii U only]

– Sharing screenshots from gameplay, including Miiverse and friends
– Sharing stages in Stage Builder, including with friends
– Posting replays to YouTube
– Creating Normal Tourneys
– Tourney Mode will be ending entirely
– Miiverse stage can still be played, but messages will not be displayed and you can’t post messages once a match is over

A few years ago, Stick it to the Man was released on Wii U. That same game is coming to Switch later this month.

Zoink announced today that Stick it to the Man is landing on Switch on November 23. It’ll be priced at $11.99 / €11.99 / £10.99. It’s the same game as before, but with support for HD Rumble (and the Switch Pro Controller).

We have an overview and a trailer below.

Teyon has just announced that Tallowmere, a 2D platformer which was originally released on the Wii U last year, is coming to the Switch. It’ll be available on the European and North American Switch eShop next week, on November 9th. Check out the trailer for the game:

We’re only two weeks away from the release of Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon. Accordingly, the pre-load for both games is now available on the European and Japanese 3DS eShops. The North American eShop will likely follow soon. The file size for each game is about 3.7 GB.

A new Voting Gauntlet event is coming to Fire Emblem Heroes soon – and this time, it’s a battle of the haircuts. Between November 6th and November 12th, it’s a face-off between short-haired ladies and long-haired gents. Representing the women are Amelia, Katarina, Shanna and Hinoka while Takumi, Karel, Soren and Ryoma will fight for the men. You can see the match-ups in the image above.

If you don’t have any of these characters yet, then the two Summoning Foci that are available starting today might be helpful. One of them features the four women and the other features the four men.

Splatoon 2 is getting its weekly new weapon a day earlier than usual this week, it seems. The Custom Jet Squelcher is identical to the Jet Squelcher in terms of stats, but comes with the Burst Bomb sub-weapon and the Sting Ray special. It’ll be available tomorrow around noon in Japan and Australia, early in the morning in Europe and later tonight in North America.

A new Super Mario Run update has gone live on iOS. As far as we’re aware, it is not available on Android.

One part of the update makes adjustments so that Super Mario Run properly fits the iPhone X screen. Nintendo also fixed these two issues:

– An issue where players could not perfectly clear a course has been resolved.
– An issue where some items did not appear in the Notebook has been resolved.

If you have Super Mario Run on iOS, version 3.0.6 can be downloaded now.

Thanks to Cameron for the tip.
