A pair of interesting retailer listings have been spotted that may point to a possible “Day One Edition” for Sonic Forces.
Amazon Spain and XtraLife both list the release, though there’s an important caveat here. Neither store has the Sonic Forces Day One Edition for Switch – only PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, we did come across a listing from Game Mania in the Netherlands that does list it for Nintendo’s console.
The European Switch eShop has updated with a new listing for an upcoming game. Though it’s without a release date, the 2.5D point-and-click adventure game Violett will be releasing soon on Nintendo’s console.
Here’s the premise:
Dragged by her parents, a young and rebellious teenage girl – Violett, moves to an old spooky house in the middle of nowhere. Forced away from her friends and life in the city; she imagines how boring life in countryside will be: spending day after day, bored in her room with absolutely nothing to do. But what she cannot imagine, is that in just a few moments, she’ll have the adventure of her life.
And a trailer:

Nintendo has readied a new trailer for Monster Hunter Stories, releasing September 8 in both North America and Europe. View the video below.
September is looking like a busy month for 3DS. Monster Hunter Stories, Metroid: Samus Returns, and Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters are arriving within just a few weeks of each other.
Previously, Nintendo had given Psychic Specters a vague “Fall 2017” launch window in North America. We now have a final date, as it’s now confirmed for September 29.
Yo-kai Watch 2 originally came out last year. Psychic Specters offers new features, including new Yo-kai to befriend, exclusive quests, and the ability to hop on the Hexpress to a new resort area. Those who purchased Yo-kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits or Fleshy Souls can transfer their save data to pick up where they left off.

The New 2DS XL is the hot new thing for Nintendo in the 3DS line right now, but the company hasn’t forgotten about the original 2DS. Next month, the big N will be shipping out a new bundle.
Consumers will soon be able to pick up a white-and-red 2DS system with New Super Mario Bros. 2. The game will come pre-installed. It’s slated for August 25 at a $79.99 price point.
Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said in a statement:
“Nintendo 2DS is the ideal system for parents that want to introduce their kids to the creative world of Nintendo that they grew up with. Its budget-friendly price and huge library of games will provide hours of entertainment for the whole family – whether after school, on the weekends or even while traveling.”

Koei Tecmo has shared another brief look at a Bond Conversation in Fire Emblem Warriors, this time between Corrin and Xander. Give it a watch:
Update: Name for this new stage in English is “Shifty Station”.
Original: Splatoon 2’s first Splatfest is this weekend and it seems like it’ll be something special: a new stage called “Twilight Zone” will be available during it, alongside some of the regular stages. At the moment, it seems like this stage will only be playable while the Splatfest lasts and won’t be added to the regular map rotation afterwards.
