Senran Kagura originally started out as a 3DS game. The series has expanded considerably since the series first debuted in 2011, and continues to reach new platforms. But as far as 3DS goes, producer Kenichiro Takaki says that things are “pretty much complete.”

When asked about the possible future of Senran Kagura on the portable, Takai said:

“The 3DS series is pretty much complete. Senran Kagura: Deep Crimson pretty much summed up the entire story so I have no plans to release any more 3DS titles.”

The next Senran Kagura came coming to a Nintendo platform is Shinobi Refle: Senran Kagura. While a release date hasn’t been announced,

After Nintendo announced the new Zelda: Breath of the Wild at E3, we learned that Japan would be receiving a 4-pack of the figures. Urbosa, Revali, Mipha, and Daruk will be sold together for those who are interested.

As it turns out, this 4-pack won’t just be for Japan. A similar listing has appeared on the amiibo site in Germany. The only difference between the two is that each character lines up correctly in the packaging.

Dragon Quest XI has a unique “Restricted Play” mode. When going through this mode, you can experience the RPG with certain features disabled.

Square Enix previously confirmed being unable to shop, being unable to run away from battle, and being unable to equip armor as the first three restrictions. The fourth was announced during the “Countdown Carnival” in Japan this past weekend.

Dragon Quest XI’s next restriction is known as “ashamed curse”. It makes you unable to speak properly to people in town, causes embarrassing things to happen in battle that make you unable to act (such as the elastic band of your underwear breaking), and has various other embarrassing elements.

Bandai Namco provided an update on Namco Museum this week. Included in the news is that the digital release will support Download Play in Pac-Man Vs. through a free eShop app that can be used on a second Switch system. We have some additional details about Namco Museum aside from that feature.

First, Namco Museum will support all of Switch’s play styles. You can experience the collection on a TV, in tabletop mode, or in portable mode.

All titles except Pacman Vs. can be played in not only horizontal screen but also vertical screen. Doing so makes each of the games closer to arcade screens. However, playing vertically in TV mode will require a television that supports pivot (rotating screen)

Challenge mode has been added for the ten original titles (not including Pacman Vs). Each game will have their own challenges, such as in Pac-Man. One of the challenges there is to “continuously eat Ghosts within 3 minutes”.

Below are a few additional screenshots from Namco Museum showing menus, etc.:
