Nintendo recently brought out some new 3DS themes in Japan based on Animal Crossing and Pokemon. In the video below, you can get another look at them all.
Famitsu published the first screenshots from Story of Seasons: Good Friends of Three Villages. We’ve rounded them up below.
Mega Man Battle Network 6: Cybeast Falzar and Mega Man Battle Network 6: Cybeast Gregar are due out on the European Wii U Virtual Console on January 14. View the official trailer for the two games below.
Update 2: Not mentioned in the article specifically, but a Tears of Light change has been spotted in one of the images. See this post.
Update: Having gone through the Twilight Princess HD pages, it seems that it doesn’t talk about new features. Instead it re-introduces the whole game – story, Link’s abilities, etc. Famitsu only mentions that everything is redrawn in full HD… so pretty much nothing new. Enjoy the screenshots though!
This week’s Famitsu scans are now available. Highlighted games include Hyrule Warriors Legends, Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games (3DS), Monster Hunter Stories, Story of Seasons: Good Friends of Three Villages, and Zelda: Twilight Princess HD. Scans of each title can be found in the gallery below.
Space Hulk is due out on the North American Wii U eShop tomorrow, a game page on Nintendo’s website reveals. It’ll be available for $29.99.
For those who haven’t heard of Space Hulk previously, this overview should come in handy:
The legendary Space Hulk comes to the Wii U in this epic turn based strategy game. Set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, an intriguing story of legendary battles and heroic actions unfolds. Play as a small squad of fearless Space Marine Terminators who attempt to reclaim their honor by mounting an assault on a derelict space hulk infested by hordes of vicious tyranid Genestealers.
Take control of the Adeptus Astartes of the Blood Angel chapter and guide them towards glory, while battling fierce Xenos and uncovering ancient relics in the infested confines of the massive Space Hulk named “Sin of Damnation.”
The game is a 3D digital turn based strategy game that recreates the classic claustrophobic board game experience in both singleplayer and multiplayer.
You can find some screenshots of Space Hulk in the gallery below.
Aside from some news about Pokken Tournament, this month’s issue of CoroCoro also had an update on Pokemon the Movie XY & Z 2016. The magazine talks about how Volcanion hates humans – why this is so and what happened to make it hate them. CoroCoro also teased a World Exclusive Scoop Poster and a major announcement that will affect the entire world for the movie.
New information about Yo-kai Watch Sangokushi has emerged from this month’s issue of CoroCoro. The magazine shares information about the story, characters, and more.
Yo-kai Watch Sangokushi begins as Komasa, Jibanyan, and Whisper visit Nate’s school. He comes across a peculiar book that ultimately transports them into an unknown world that has Yo-kai Watch in armor.
Players will be able to select either Jibanyan, Komasan, or USApyon. Your choice is important, as this will effect the beginning of the story as well as the abilities you can use. Orochi, Fubuki-hime, Kyubi, Bakuro, Robonyan, Masamune, and Honobono are also confirmed as characters appearing in Yo-kai Watch Sangokushi.
Those who have purchased previous Yo-kai Watch titles will be eligible for bonuses. For Yo-kai Watch 2, players will receive three Yo-kai. If you have Busters, two Yo-kai will be provided.
Finally, a word on Yo-kai Watch 3. CoroCoro will have brand new details about the game in its next issue.
Super Mario Maker’s latest Event Course and costume unlock have gone live. After completing the “Cooooo!” level, players will receive Yamamura as the latest outfit.
Here’s an overview of the course:
“This course was created by Yamamura of ‘Super Mario Maker: Crash Course’ fame! He might look like a humble pigeon, but don’t let that fool you – he’s a master course creator! Here’s what he had to say: ‘Coo! (To please my fans across the world, I had a special Yamamura costume made. I hope you all clear my course and get it!)'”
And here’s a video for the costume:
