The latest in D3 Publisher’s Escape series has made its way to the Japanese eShop and is accompanied by a new trailer for The Escape from the Museum: Mystery Discovered!, which is also Vol. 34 in the @Simple DL Series for 3DS.
As you can guess, the game has you solving puzzles so you can make your escape from the museum. Check out the trailer above for the newest entry in the Simple Series.
Midora, Epic Minds’ 2D action-adventure game, has been put on hold. You may recall that the project was funded on Kickstarter last year, and was planned for both Wii U and 3DS.
Epic Minds explained in a website update that “the money we raised was never enough to begin with” and more developers are needed. The team is “not bankrupt, but we know for sure we do not have enough to complete this game.”
So what’s next? Epic Minds is now preparing a completely different title called “Treasure Addicts”, which has “made excellent progress”. Midora is on the backburner for the time being.
After broadcasts are finished on Niconico, viewers are able to vote on their satisfaction with what was shown. I’m usually against posting these results since, well, they’re ultimately a bit pointless. But let’s make an exception this time!
An overwhelming majority of viewers were happy with today’s Xenoblade Chronicles X presentation. Here’s a look at the results:
It was very good: 95.5%
It was pretty good: 2.3%
It was average: 0.9%
It wasn’t very good: 0.2%
It was bad: 1.1%
We’re not entirely sure how many people responded to the survey, but 31,331 viewers watched today’s presentation on Niconico.
Shacknews posted a new video today that shows a bit more from Swords & Soldiers 2. Watch it above. You’ll also see some comments from Ronimo’s Jasper Koning!
Over on its Facebook page, Nintendo posted a few alternate covers for Xenoblade Chronicles 3D. It’ll take a bit of effort on your part to use them since they need to be printed out, but some of you may find that it’s worth it! The full set can be found here.
Thanks to Adrian B for the tip.
Plenty of Fishies has received a new patch. We’re not entirely sure about the specifics yet, but one thing we’re hearing is that it adds Miiverse support. If we do obtain extra information about the update, we’ll update this post.
