Bandai Namco’s new teaser site for Assassination Classroom: Grand Siege on Kurosensei can be found here. Three screenshots are included on the page, though they’re a bit difficult to see given how small they are. Other than that, there isn’t much to see currently!

New music and sound effects have been found in Donkey Kong despite the fact that the game was released over thirty years ago.

One user over on the Cutting Room wiki came across three pieces of music as well as two sound effects. Although these items were never publicly accessible, some have appeared in later games including handheld ports.

You can listen to all of the content here.

There’s more talk going around about Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS potentially supporting DLC.

Messages have apparently been found in the 3DS version that could be used to create data for downloadable content, for instance. Other recently-discovered code could allow for character and stage DLC to be loaded.

Rumor has it that the shop will be titled “Notifications Shop” – at least in Japanese.

Will any of this pan out? Will Smash Bros. actually get any DLC? Only time will tell…

We provided a first look at Machete Brawl – a new title from q-bit games and Sleepy Sheepy – back in April. Since then, q-bit says “a lot of things happened”. That has resulted in Machete Brawl’s death, though the project has been reborn as “Holobunnies”.

What was planned for Machete Brawl will now be included in Holobunnies as a multiplayer mode. Here’s a brief overview of the new game:

Holobunnies is a side-scrolling exploration-based action game set in the wonderful and bizarre depths of PANDEMONIUM! You’ll be playing as one of the four fluffy Holobunnies ; Danielle the witch, Leenox the hunter, Mephisto the ninja and Roméo the bard – each with their unique abilities. You will travel the caverns by jumping, running, and jetpacking through enemies and hidden treasures to find who or what stole Holobunnies’ favorite creatures’ eyes – the Machetes.

A Kickstarter for Holobunnies will go live this Saturday. If the goal isn’t met, the project was still be made – just “at a slower pace, and with less features.” You can rest easy knowing that Holobunnies will come out at some point in the future!
