Arc System Works is bringing a new visual novel to the Japanese 3DS eShop next week known as “Ghost Detective: Shida’s Ayakashi Case Book” – otherwise known as Mononoke Detective. A trailer is posted above, and some details have been rounded up below.
– Play as detective Shida Mori
– Shida is investigating ayakashi cases with his partner and fiancée Shiho Kitakitani
– Ayakashi is a collective name for yokai that appear above water
– Shida and Shiho are accompanied by Shida’s assistant named Shiro
– Shiro has shapeshifting abilities
– Game takes place in the Taisho era at the capital of flowers
– Mysterious incidents have been ongoing
– Shida has inherited the title of “Ghost Detective” from his grandfather
– Solve cases by talking with characters and collecting evidence
– Find evidence using the 3DS touch screen
– Need to seal the “Mononoke”
– To do so, you’ll need to find its “true name”
– You’ll be required to find clues that will lead to the kanji spelling of its name, which you’ll get from clues scattered across the game

Rusty’s Real Deal Baseball is officially set for release on the North American 3DS eShop next week. Thanks to a tweet published by NOA a short while ago, it’s been confirmed that the free-to-game title will be launching on April 3.

Swords & Soldiers HD is coming to Wii U courtesy of Two Tribes, the studio announced today.
The game will offer the following:
The classic Swords & Soldiers experience.
Playable with custom touch scheme on gamepad.
Playable with Wii remote on TV.
Multiplayer mode combining gamepad and TV.
High res HD graphics compared to SD Wii release.
Swords & Soldiers HD will be available next month. Pricing hasn’t been announced, but it’ll apparently be fairly cheap.

Renegade Kid is still hard at work on the upcoming Mutant Mudds 3DS update. Studio co-founder Jools Watsham estimates that the patch will be submitted within the next two weeks.

When Mutant Mudds’ 3DS update is made available, the game will add content from the Deluxe version.

– The choices you make in terms of conversational topics and responses will also slowly edge her towards the alignment of your choice
– Jobs that you schedule in for her in the weekly calendar schedule can also affect it
– Ex: choose live lessons for her to practice her singing and dancing will edge her to Black
– Gravure lessons will edge her towards White points
– Sonico will edge towards Peach if you have her work in various other forms of productions such as filming as an actress
– Can go out with her on dates
– First press orders come with a bonus “Pastel Stripe” costume
Even though Nintendo hasn’t officially announced Tomodachi Collection: New Life’s western release at this point, it seems like a done deal. The latest evidence pointing to the game’s overseas launch comes from a Nintendo of Europe, which contains English screenshots, details, and even a video.
