Devolver Digital E3 2021 showcase live stream

Devolver Digital’s annual E3 2021 event will be kicking off soon. The fun begins at 1:30 PM PT / 4:30 PM ET / 9:30 PM in the UK / 10:30 PM in Europe.
Devolver says it has five new games to reveal and two release dates to share. We’ve usually gotten a bit of Switch news during these events, so hopefully that’s the case this time around as well.

E3 2021 day 1 live stream

The first official day of E3 2021 will be starting soon. Look for the live stream to begin at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM in the UK / 7 PM in Europe. Ubisoft’s event will be held a couple of hours into the broadcast, so that’s something to keep an eye on.

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus announced for Switch

Original (6/11): The popular visual novel Doki Doki Literature Club is coming to Switch as a new “Plus” version, Serenity Forge and Team Salvato have announced. It will launch digitally on June 30.
Doki Doki Literature Club Plus will feature new content and features. Team Salvato is implementing six new side stories, thirteen additional music tracks and a music player, over 100 unlockable pictures for the picture gallery, higher resolution artwork with over twice the number of pixels, and more.
A physical version is also planned, which ships this summer. Pre-orders are open here. Copies include the physical game, poem notebook inner coversheet, 2” character standees, full soundtrack download code printed on a floppy shaped card, vinyl sticker sheet, membership card, and exclusive poem written by Monika.

After rumors swirled yesterday of a possible Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle sequel, the news has been officially confirmed. A listing for the new project titled Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope has now surfaced on Nintendo’s website.

Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster dev on bringing back Dante and the character’s influence on the series

Just like with the PlayStation 2 original, Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster features Dante from Devil May Cry. The character can be accessed as extra DLC for the game.
It turns out that bringing Dante back was a top priority for Atlus. Kazuyuki Yamai, who directed the remaster, told Destructoid that “including Dante was part of our original project proposal” and there was “never any question as to whether we wanted him back.”

It’s been nearly a year since we first heard about Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions. The game was announced during a Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase last August, and then promptly dropped off the radar.

Some Switch owners still experiencing issues from this week’s firmware update

This week’s Switch firmware update has been a bit of a mess for some. After Nintendo began distribution of version 12.0.3 on Monday, it was pulled due to various issues. The update went back up soon after.
Unfortunately, some Switch owners who installed version 12.0.3 are still experiencing issues. There are reports floating around that impacted users cannot download purchased games from the eShop.
