As mentioned earlier today, Disney Tsum Tsum Festival is due out in Japan on October 10. Alongside the game’s launch, a special Switch bundle will be offered.
The package includes a Switch system in addition to a copy of Disney Tsum Tsum Festival plus a code for DLC costumes in the actual game. Both the dock and Joy-Con have been specially-made (the home button is even stylized after Mickey Mouse), and the Switch itself will have a design on the back. Note that this will be the updated model with the longer battery life.

Nintendo’s free Switch Joy-Con replacement policy doesn’t seem to apply to all regions
Posted on 5 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 0 comments
Yesterday we heard that Nintendo would start to offer free repairs for faulty Joy-Con. This all came about after numerous complaints regarding drifting controllers, in which they would sent input to the console on their own. A lawsuit was also filed. Unfortunately, the free Joy-Con replacement policy doesn’t appear to be in effect worldwide – at least not yet.
The first example of this is in France. Numerama attempted to reach out to Nintendo’s customer service, and they denied having adopted a free Joy-Con replacement policy. French support claims it will still cost a customer €45 to replace a controller out of warranty.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses to add Lunatic difficulty after launch as a free update
Posted on 5 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 0 comments
Like other Fire Emblem games, Three Houses will include a few different difficulty levels and settings. Lunatic won’t be available right away, but it’s confirmed that it’ll be coming later on.
Genki Yokota, the director for Fire Emblem: Three Houses at Nintendo, shared the news in an interview with Famitsu this week. Players will be able to access the Lunatic difficulty following a free patch shortly after launch. This will provide an extra challenge for experienced players. He said, “please wait just a little bit [for the update].”
We’re currently working on a full translation of Famitsu’s interview, so stay tuned.

VICE Games has managed to get in touch with a source familiar with Nintendo’s updated customer support documentation. In it, the company tells its employees that it will no longer charge customers seeking repairs for their Switch Joy-Con, and to refund those who’ve already paid.
A portion of the internal customer service memo states:
