[Review] Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers
Posted on 7 years ago by Dennis Gagliardotto(@LyonHart_) in Reviews, Switch, Switch eShop | 21 Comments
System: Switch
Release date: May 26, 2017
Developer:: Capcom
Publisher: Capcom
Chances are nowadays that when you talk to someone about fighting games, one of the first titles to come to mind is Street Fighter. The series has spanned decades, with 2017 marking its 30th anniversary which is further celebrated with the updated release of one of the most seminal fighting games of all time, Street Fighter II. Before the imminent release of Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers on Switch, the game had already returned many times in the past. To some this may seem excessive, but for the most hardcore of Street Fighter fans, it’s a way to continually preserve the history of one of the most successful fighting game franchises of all time, as well as one of the most important titles in the series. However you look at it, Ultra Street Fighter II has a lot to love about it if you’re an avid Street Fighter fan, but may leave a lot to be desired to those looking to jump in for the first time or have casually spent time with the series over the last three decades.

The new Castlevania show follows “the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepe himself.” According to producer Adi Shankar, it’s based on Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse. Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 190 Comments
Update: WWG has now posted the full piece of art:
Original: The first piece of art has leaked from Ubisoft and Nintendo’s upcoming collaboration game for Switch, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. Twitter user FatalFlowey posted the image that shows one Rabbid wearing a Princess Peach outfit.
Earlier this month, Kotaku reported that Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle would be launching in August or September. The site also mentioned having seen art featuring “Mario and crew wielding guns that shoot laser beams.” We can confirm that the image above is a small section of that asset.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is apparently being build with Ubisoft’s Snowdrop engine. The game is said to be including turn-based combat, two-player local co-op, and a “goofy sense of humor,” according to Kotaku’s article.

Blind Rhythm Heaven player sends heartwarming letter to Nintendo, receives reply in braille
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 13 Comments
Japanese Twitter user kentarock1020 has a son named Hibiki who, very sadly, is completely blind. He’s lacked the ability to see since the age of two due to the rare cancer form retinoblastoma. That naturally makes it difficult to play most video games. However, there’s one Nintendo series he’s managed to not only play, but also excel at.
With the help of his father, Hibiki wrote a letter to Nintendo thanking the company and asking for more Rhythm Heaven (Rhythm Tengoku in Japan) games in the future. The full message is below:
