Fire Emblem Heroes adding Edelgard: Flame Emperor as new Legendary Hero

Edelgard: Flame Emperor is joining Fire Emblem Heroes as the game’s latest Legendary Hero, Nintendo has announced. The character will be live on April 30. Other Heroes will also appear.

Pokemon Sword/Shield featuring Heat Rotom, Whimsicott, Excadrill, and more in Max Raid Battle event

The Max Raid Battle event has shifted in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. Players will now be more likely to encounter Heat Rotom, Whimsicott, Excadrill, and other creatures commonly used in the competitive scene. The full set can be encountered in the Wild Area.
If you’re interested in participating, you’ll need to connect your Switch system online. You can then head on over to a pillar of light shining from a Pokemon Den to start up a Max Raid Battle.
Charizard, Garbodor, Copperajah, and Duraludon were featured in the last round of events. They were in the rotation for about a month.

Darkrai, Altered Forme Giratina, and Virizion coming to Pokemon GO Raid Battles soon

It’s been announced that Darkrai, Altered Forme Giratina, and Virizion will soon be appearin in Pokemon GO as part of five-star raids. Players may also encounter a shiny version if they’re lucky enough.

My Nintendo adds printable Trials of Mana covers in Europe

My Nintendo is celebrating the release of Trials of Mana with a new reward in Europe. A set of alternate covers are up for grabs, which users can print out at home.
The reward is currently up on My Nintendo Europe here. It’ll set you back 50 Platinum Points.
A similar reward hasn’t been offered in North America at this time.

Cosmic Defenders delayed

Cosmic Defenders, which was first announced about a year ago, was given an April release window last month. Unfortunately, the fast-paced revolving shooter will no longer be arriving on time.
Publisher Natsume said today that the delay has come about because of “the general slowdown and unique situation we all our experiencing during the current health crisis”. A new release date has not been announced. We do at least have a couple of new screenshots below.

Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia collector’s edition revealed

It was previously announced that Limited Run Games would be offering a physical version of Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia. The company followed up today with some additional details.
Aside from a standard release, Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia is also getting a collector’s edition. Copies include the game, soundtrack, reversible poster, and an enamel pin.
Reservations for the standard release and collector’s editions open on May 1 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET. There will be a four-week open pre-order.
